I had occasion to pass through Providence on a recent Sunday morning, and I was perusing the ads wondering where to enjoy a massage. I saw that PLEASANT advertised a steam room, which I LOVE, and when I called I verified that it would be working. And thanks to all of your helpful reviews I decided to try them.

I'm glad I did! Sure enough, when I got there, the steam room was going for me. I was told to take me time and knock when I was ready to get out. I enjoyed it for a good 10 minutes or so. Then I was taken to the dry sauna. A bit of a wait there, maybe a bunch of you were there ahead of me. No matter.

My attendant was Yumi, a slim attractive woman. She said she was relatively new. She did a very nice table shower and dry off. Back massage was good and firm, the way I like it. After the flip, it was a pleasure. No follow-up massage on the front, though.

House fee was $70. I had not asked on the phone. I am happy to pay a bit of a premium for a well-done steam room and dry sauna.

On the way out, I was introduced to Anna and Coco, also very attractive and very friendly.

Since when does far east have a steam room? They always had just that tiny dry sauna. If they do in fact have a steam room where in the world is it? The basement? Far east is the smallest of all the spa's.
