Was in the QC real briefly yesterday, was not staying in town. Did the cruise through the area once around 5:30 and saw nothing out.

Here are pics of the two sisters who were arrested late last month. Posted the newspaper article after it came out.

Thurs- Hit the stroll area fairly early evening. First off see an OK looking strawberry blonde. Offer her a ride and she accepts. She tells me her name is Angie and is 40 years old. Looks real good for her age and is the oldest women I have picked up. She tells me she used to be a hardcore druggie but is not anymore and has a real job but in need of some extra cash. I take her to my hotel and we have some fun she is not rushing but says she has to pick up her son from his father so cant spend a whole lot of time with me. Says she would be willing to come back later. Shows me where she lives. I then take her to her car in the stroll area.

I get dinner. Come back to angie's place and she is not around. Do the stroll area see the girl with the dog again. She is cute but I have no desire to deal with the dog. Try angie;s again. she is not around decide to return to my hotel.

I have met with Angie a couple of times. She is a master of disguise. On two occasions after my first meeting her, I picked her up on the stroll and was surprised as we drove away to learn it was her, AGAIN. She likes to tell people she is the oldest ***** in Davenport but the cops leave her alone because she is respectful and discrete while on the street.

She has a decent body for her age (pretty thin) but despite her years of experience she has not learned to give a blow job without raking skin off with her teeth. She also talks non-stop, in a wigger, rap style, about her kids, ex-husbands and sugar daddys.

Best thing I can say for her is she is almost always working and is not a rip off, cash and dash hustler.

Wound up having to spend a couple of days in the QCA had some fun and some not so fun. wish someone else would do some reports I have seen other guys out there. And there are people online from the area. Judging form the number of vuews the pictures on here get.

Wed- Got into town and checked in at hotel by about 6:30. Did the stroll area on both sides of the river. Saw nothing. Tried calling a girl I had met on a previous trip but the cellular customer was out of the area. Did dinner and came back. Saw a fairly cute girl wandering around who was giving me the eye, white early 20s brunette. I had seen her out earlier Did not think she was a SW since she was walking a very small dog. After a long while of no luck and still seeing her around I stopped near the adult bookstore in Davenport, she was near there and walked towards he door. She stopped me and asked me if I was going in to watch movies. Told her I had never been to the store before and was checking it out. she told me I could have more fun with her. I asked her about the dog and she said she is fun too. I went into the store and she was gone when I came out a few minutes later.

Drove around some more saw girl with the dog again, someone did stop to pick her up. She was having a very difficult time getting the dog into the guy's car. A few minutes later I saw another young woman out dark blonde hair white 20 something. Stopped and offered her a ride. She said no. About ten minutes later sw her again and she said she yelled at me she could use the ride. So offered. Her name is Kelly. Told me she is 28. Took her back to my hotel and had a fairly good but a bit rushed time with her for $20. She seemed Ok and told her would give her a bit more if she could stick around she declined and I drove her back. Went to my hotel and called it a night.

About 3 Am someone is pounding on my door waking me up. It is Kelly she told me she got a babysitter and would spend the rest of the night with me for $20 more. She takes off her jacket and I give her the $20. She tells me she has to tell her ride she is staying. Leaves and does not come back I have her jacket and figure I have been had. But still she got $$40 for me for everything and that is what many girls get. I still have her jacket.

About 6 am I am awakened by the phone. Wake up call not supposed to be until 7:15. It is Kelly. She acts real remorseful for taking the cash and dashing. Says she wants to come over and make it up to me, plus she wants her jacket back. Says she needs $20 more for rent that is now due today. I am real stupid and say OK.

Twenty minutes later she shows up. I tell her I want a picture of her and she allows me to take one. I will share it when i get it developed. She then asks for the $20 and I tell her I still think she is going to dash again. She takes off her pants and shirt (no bra on underneath) and starts giving me a BJ allowing me to reach into her panties and finger her. There is another knock on my door. I am reluctant to answer. But do anyways. It is her boyfriend a big black guy, He tells her she has to leave and pulls her out of the room. she is not really putting up a fight. She leaves with the $20, however is wearing nothing but her panties. I have her shirt, pants and her sandals left in the room. I do not hear form her again. I will avoid her if I see her again. Suppose things could have turned out worse.

Still have some cash around so I decide to try a service girl again. Try several numbers in the QC Times. get some voice mails. First one that answers says all of her girls are busy who I would like. I had asked for white girl under 30. She has them ranging in age from 18 to 60 in all races and sizes. She might be able to call a girl who is not working tonight and see if she wants to come out. I should try back in ten minutes. Call another number get no response. The last number listed gets a response. It is the woman I just talked to. she tells me that I just called her other number and should not be trying all the services. Says she is not going to try the girl who is off.

Try the numbers that aren't hers again. Get an answer. am told I have the choice of a 22 YO brunette or a 35 YO black girl. Choose the 22 YO. about an hour later she shows up. Looks a bit rough. says her name is Misty and she has just started working the QC. She used to work in a brothel in nevada. Says her pic is still on their website. i have nt checked it out. She also tells me she is 28. She looks good for 28, rough for 22. She is not a rip off but is very mechanical and unmotivated with her service. Not good value for money. Although she is better looking than angie, given the choice I would have done Angie again.

That IS a terrible pic, but it might be the same young, very good body girl I saw there, at AH, 2 years ago. Roughly $1+ for a handshake, after she gave her BS line & I was "ready to go", in no condition to haggle. I was pissed. Never again. By the way. The rest were hogs. I imagine she made a fortune there.

Saw Devine (not her real name) several times when sshe was working at After Hours in both locations. Was 18 first time aI saw her and a real hottie. Would have gone there more often but she always wanted more for less than one could find by picking up a SW. Plus she was always rushing. Managed to talk her into letting me take 1 picture the second time I saw her. The flash did not go off, but it still counted as my one. ;( It is thus a rather crappy and dark photo. Waited to scan this one since I figured might be able to get it to look a bit better once I learned to use the photo editing program a bit better. Still looks a bit washed out and the colors are not all that good but at least you can see something, I am afraid this is as good as I can make it.

According to what I have read on here she is out of commision having been arrested in a raid last summer.

I was thinking of visiting Sugar's, for the 1st time, next week. Probably will. If so, I'll post results. By the way, they have been "busted" like that many times, & have been in business for as long as I can remember. I don't think they're going anywhere. I just wish there were more posts on Sugar's, so I can know what to expect. As long as they've been in business, there HAS TO BE some of you, going there.

I have been to Sugars once and had an unsatisfying experience with Hope. Saw Rene there at the same time. They did not look like sisters. Did see both arrive together while I was cruising once. Wonder if this means the place will be going out of business like the other one did?

Sisters arrested on prostitution charges at Davenport club By Brian Krans

Two sisters from Silvis were arrested Wednesday night for allegedly offering sexual services to undercover police officers at a downtown Davenport strip club.

Davenport police's Tactical Operation Bureau was conducting an investigation into alleged prostitution activity at Sugar's Dancers, 1037 W. 3rd St., where the sisters were dancing under stage names, court records state.

Amber "Hope" Griffin, 29, agreed to dance nude and perform a sex act on a male customer for $150, and Stephanie "Rene" Griffin, 27, offered sex to an undercover officer for $120, court records state.

The Griffins, both of 1612 14th St., were charged with prostitution. They both made first court appearances Thursday in Scott County District Court.

Police conducted a similar sting at Sugar's in May 2004, during which a dancer solicited prostitution to an undercover police officer. Then mayor Charlie Brooke pulled the club's license, but a judge's ruling earlier this year declared his decision as unconstitutional.

Neither of the Griffin women were being held at the Scott County Jail Thursday. Their next court date is set for June 1.

Business owners hope new lights deter crime

DAVENPORT - Once the sun goes down - it's a neighborhood police say is notorious for drugs and prostitution.

But several small business owners*near 2nd Street and Myrtle*want to clean up that image - and hope new street lights will help.

"Some of the people who'd rather not be seen at night in this area won't come here if the lights are on," said Donna Petersen. Her husband owns Petersen's Plumbing. It's been*on the same block for nearly 60 years - the couple has*no desire to move.

"There's a lot of people using downtown, it's gaining momentum weekly," said Bob Petersen.*"Anything we can do to encourage and brighten up the area is very important."

Development consultant Shelley Sheehy*was part of this push to spread light in this neighborhood.

"We're talking about open drug deals, prostitution," she said. "These aren't people who live in this neighborhood, these are people who come in to do business."

"By getting lights in -leaving them*on, we hope it sends a message this isn't the place for that kind of business," she added.

"If our neighbors would pull together, improve property, it'd be a nicer place to work and live," said Donna Petersen.

"If everyone does a litle bit of their part, it can make a big difference," added her husband.

The girl did NOT come. Called them before I left the hotel. Was told the girl who they had been going to send over wound up calling in and saying she could not come since it was her time of the month. Another girldescribed as blonde 18 adn even cuter and the first one was on her way from Iowa and should be there in 10 minutes or so. I told them I was pressed for time and was heading out the door. if she had a cell phone they should call her and have her turn around.

I seem to be almost the only one posting here. I know there are other guys out there. are they all the ones who dont have interent? I posted some pics here a couple months ago and they have been looked at between 1100 and 1900 times so someone else is acessing the Quad City forum!

Had things to attend to in QC yesterday and today.

Was with someone when I noticed a sign off of Avenue of the Cities and I-74 goingwest bound saying something to the effect of " Unwarranted repetitive driving prohibited". This sounds like a technical term for cruising. Is this the place High School kids go or is it to warn away other activities? Any locals know? Did not think about the sign last night when I was looking so no first hand info. I just found it interesting.

Suspect inclement weather did not help things last night. I saw nothing out in many passes through the Davenport cruise area and a couple in Rock Island. After it turned dark spotted a WSW and offered her a ride. She told me her name was Katie and she was 26. Also said it was the first time she had gotten in a car with a guy. Looked nice and clean a bit on the heavy side but not fat. She told me how she desperately needed $50 more than she had. Told her I had a hotel and headed off there. After a few minutes she was getting antsy. Said we were going to far away. She suggested I give her the $50 and we head back to the area I found her. She wanted to get something from her boyfriend. This guy later turned into a guy she had met last night who had something of hers. He would not return it until he got the $50 she owed him. I see a drug trransction here. She must have been new at this, real stupid or thought I was one of the two. Her proposal was that I would give her $50, she would get her stuff (drugs) back, I would tell her what hotel I was in and she would drive over to me and spend the night with me. Told her Not a good idea. Suggested we go to hotel, we have fun then I give her $50. She did not like this idea. She suspected her boyfriend might be gone bytime she got back. Told me I could have more fun with her and she would share her stuff. Any chance it was not drugs now slipped to none. She insisted I turn around and bring her back. I did. On the way she said she could give me a BJ while driving. I said OK but she would not get any money. This really annoyed her she asked why and told her I had my cash stashed in my hotel rooom so I would not get ripped off. Let her go where I found her very upset.

Crusied some more and saw nothing worth picking up. Did see the grandma aged SW who looks good from a block away. Lots of make up. Saw her on previus tip and passed.

Did notice that there are several notices posted on the door to After Hours. Stopped to read they indicate the building is not meeting neighborhood beautifcation requirements and cited numerous examples. Fines will be applied to the owners / tenants if they are not fixed by a certain date. The phone number on door is getting cell phone user unavailable message.

Wasting too much gas. Went back to hotel. Looking through QC Times. Noticed several ads for excort services. Never tried one before. Still had some cash left over from lottery win so decided to waste it here. Called several got 2 cell phone user unavailable messages, a voice mail and another with a woman who insisted she have my home address, DL number and home phone before she would telll me anything. Decided to go with only one that showed any promise one with number ending in 6536. Girl answered said her name was AJ, I gave her my high school nick name. Told me it would be $40 for a girl to come see me. I could expect a real good time for $140 total. Gave me a description of all girls. Picked one described as 22 YO petite brunette. White gal. This was her. She kept stressing how professional and prompt they were and how all the girls were exactly as described. She said she would call hotel to make sure I was in room I said I was and then be coming right over. Waited 15 minutes no phone call. Called her back in case I had given her wrong number. Got voice mail. Left message. Called again about every ten minutes. An hour after my first call get a guy who sounded black. Asked for AJ. Told me she was not around and to call later, in 10 minutes. Caleld again he answered again. Told me she was busy and I told him she was supposed to be coming over to see me. He asked if i was in hotel X? I said yes and he said she left to see me 15 minutes ago and should be there any minute. Waited , waited and waited some more. No AJ called again and got voice mail. Did this several times before giving up. Never saw her. So I guess with a service one can waste as much time but a lot less money on gas and get nothing.

Tried calling the one that had voice mail last night when I got up just over an hour ago. They answered and said they had several gals who could come right over in less than 30 minutes. Gave me some descriptions. Choose a 19 YO blonde gal. She has not yet shown up. I told them when they answered I had to be somewhere before 10 that is about 20-0 minutes from hotel so iif she was not around by 8:45 I would be taking off. I'll be doing that if I do not see her when I am done with this.

Found a young black girl listed on Des Moines Cl saying she is visiting Quad Cities and Iowa City. She has a 773 (Chicago) phone numberr. She is also listed as being in Rockford at the same time. No clue where she is I put her pics in the Rockford, IL section.

6 prostitution arrests made in downtown Davenport

Four women and two men have been arrested and charged with prostitution as Davenport police used undercover officers and followed vehicles of alleged customers during an operation on the west edge of the city’s downtown.

Three of women remained Saturday in the Scott County Jail, while the two men and one of the women posted bond. All of the arrests occurred between 7:45 p.m. and about 9:30 p.m. Friday.

All of the incidents started in an area near Brown Street from West 1st to West 4th streets.

Those arrested were Santanya Yvette Henderson, 35, of 401 Paul Revere Place, Davenport, Apt. 2, charged with prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia who remained in jail on $6,825 bond; Laura Rankin, 38, of 628 W. 17th St., Davenport, charged with prostitution and released on $6,500 bond; Angel Marie Brown, 25, of 726 W. 6th St., Davenport, charged with prostitution who remained in jail on $6,500 bond; Tereso Aguilea Gomez, 48, of 2217 W. 4th, Davenport, charged with prostitution and released on $6,500 bond; Valerie Monique Jacobs, 35, of 732 8th Ave., Clinton, Iowa, charged with prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia, who remained in jail on $6,825; and NAME & ADDRESS of 34 YEAR OLD GUY, who was released on $6,500 bond. ONLY ONE OF THE TWO GUYS' NAMES WAS PRINTED.

I am guessing most guys wind paying up rather than having their name dragged through the media for involvement in a victimless crime that carries a social stigma. Since this is happening where a cop can easily see it if he is around, it involves little actual police work. Sort of like catching someone who is driving in excess of the speed limit. On the other hand catching a murderer or a SkyBridge vandal would involve investing money in some real detective work. Work that has no gaurentee of producing any result."

was sent ot the QC on Friday. After done with work did a quick check of Davenport stroll, early evening. Nothing at all was out. I did notice that parked in front of Sugars was a big vehicle marked Davenport Police Mobile Police Precinct. Do not know if they wound up getting busted or something. Dont suspect its presence was good for there business. Do not really have much spare cash so gave up after one pass through stroll.

This may have been good idea. saw aricle in QC Times (that cant find in their online version) about a number of arrests they made in town. Seems cops are following guys who pick up girls in unmarked cars and then busting them once something starts happening. Wonder what they do if someone goes across the bridge. I am guessing if the cops follow while not in high speed pursuit they may wind up out of their jurisdiction follwoing someone who is just a suspect.

Saw After Hours was still closed Sugars was open. Just for fun I tried the number posted in After Hours window. Girl answered who said she and a couple of others were still available at another location. Told me she was 21 blonde and cute and said if I was interested where to meet her. Decided what the hell and went. Turns out the girls who aren't in lock up have rented out a basement of a house on top of the bluff. Met the girl. Name of Lily. More or less as described until she took her coat off, she is several months pregnant. Said the father is a loser and she has to screw other guys to support him and baby when it comes. She was a bit more expensive than SW- 140 for everything, which I thought meant until one was done. She had an alarm in her phone go off as we were in the midst of me pounding away at her and said times up and we were "done". I did not feel done since had not popped and still had a hard on. Not a good thing. Left unsatisfied....

I saw Lily once at After Hours, dont think I did a report since it was when theyw ere havig problems on the board. She was young blonde and very attractive. I however would not have chosen her again since she was very rushed, not into it at all and did not want to have much contact. I did finish with her, she was very, very tight adn did not take much time at all. She acted like she wanted to just get up and leave. However she heard a bunch of other guys come in and decied to stay sicne she told me she was always getting picked- the other two girls there at the time looked worse than most SW I have seen out in town. So she and I just sort of sat there and stared at each other for ~5 minutes. she did not want to talk. Until one of the guys picked a girl that was there and the other said he would come back later and left.

Had to make a trip to QC for work late afternoon. Boss said could take rest of afternoon off when was done with businesss. Figured nice weather would bring out girls. Was wrong. Cruised both sides of river many times in a very long peroid of time from ~4:00 PM to 3:00 AM Took several breaks for dinner, some shopping and to see a flim so not a constant 11 hours. Did notice a lot of LE out on Iowa side. They seemed to be stopping any single female they found. Saw this happen about 4 times never got good look at any of girls. I headed across bridge each time saw this. Saw one possible WSW (average looks) on IL side in the one way system but had LE behind me and by time I had gone around block she was gone. In Iowa, fairly late at night before I decided to cut out saw a girl I would not have picked up a few hours earlier on Gaines walking down the hill. Gave me look, decided to circle around block but was cut off by a train. By the time it left she was long gone.

Tried to call the CL girl with 312 numbera few times. Dont think I would have paid her rates, but figured find out more. Got voice mail on first ring everytime. Left a message did not hear back. Last attempt she had a full voice mail box. Seems I was not only one wanting to talk to her.

Will have to be in town again sometime in April. Since I seem to have more posts here this year than anyone else, many negative, I will not be posting another struck out again report. As far as I am concered no news = bad news.
