Before Pandoras Candy was at IS for a year or so and before that for quite a few years was the queen of the day shift at the Vu in Lake Station. By the time she was at Pandoras it was hard to believe that it was the same size 0 body from the Vu days. At the Vu the other girls hated her because she was the first choice of every guy in the place. I had her number when she was at the Vu but never was able to set up a OTC meeting. Was so long ago that it was probably a pager or landline. She talked about becoming a hairdresser, I wonder where she ended up and with who. I think she had 2 kids with different dads. She got goofy as could be after doing her horrible porn films, I tracked them down but they were unwatchable. I went to Pandoras a couple of times and she threw her number at me, but I wanted nothing to do with her bloated body.

Man I can't tell you how much I've spent at Temptations over the years but yeah the weekends are a horrible time to go it turns into a damn daycare center all these young kinds come out and act like they have no sense of decorum you used to get really good mileage for the floor dances (couches along the back wall) but then you'd get a bunch of broke asses staring at you try to to cop a free feel and generally interrupting your vibe luckily I had made pretty good friends with the manager and staff so they took care to clear the space for non-paying broke kids. On Sun. Thurs OMG it was a free for all and a great time the VIP in the back were 80 (15 minutes) 120 (HHR) and 160 (Hr that room came with a fold down futon in it) every girl there provided extras and a lot of them were really good unfortunately you had a lot of long in the tooth dancers who were very experienced and more than a little GPS, but honestly it was a good little hangout now down the street Honey's (first it shared a lot with Scores) but now its in the bank Building is a horse of a different color I'll post some gems about that place later. Who remembers Pandora's and Shang-ra-la oh good times there.

Temptations was the next stop on my road trip. Going on a Friday was a BIG mistake. There is a local talent open mic there on Fridays so there were LOTS of young people there. I felt like I was at a college party. I did one dance for research. One song is. 2 regular and. 3 topless. VIP service is still available for 1. 0 to the house for 15 min plus whatever you negotiate with the dancer. There isn't much security but I felt pretty safe.

I visited Dj Vu around 5:30 pm On a recent Sunday, about a half hour after they opened. Plenty of parking on the surface lot. There was no cover and no driver's license scan, but also no dancers just yet. The manager said someone was scheduled to start soon, so he invited me to have a drink and make myself comfortable. I was going to buy a pop and was told it'd be on the house. I tipped the server a dollar.

There were three patrons at the moment, including me. It should be noted that Dj Vu is co-located with another club, Dreamgirls, which was downstairs and not open on Sunday evenings / nights. The difference between the two clubs is that Dj Vu has a liquor license (meaning one would have to be 21 to enter), the dancers don't get fully nude, and the operating day / hours aren't the same.

So around 5:40 pm The first dancer, Luna, clocked in. Thick, curvy, white with D-cups. Around this time two couples came in, so Dj Vu is couple-friendly in that sense. When Luna came out of the dressing room, that's the first time I heard the DJ. Luna had a three-song set on the main stage, which features three poles.

I sauntered up and tipped Luna, asking her for a private dance later. After her set she stopped by and we proceeded to the private dance area which was along the north wall. These weren't booths in the traditional sense: there were padded loveseats that faced the wall, situated behind a partition that was slightly over the height of the backs of the loveseats. Interestingly there's a pole installed near the private loveseat area that the dancers can use--that's the first time I've ever seen that in a club.

Luna said while the advertised cost was $15 (as posted on the wall), she said she asks customers to pay $20 for "topless" dances. I'm putting topless in quotes because in Indiana clubs that serve alcohol the dancers have to wear pasties. While she said I could've refused, I decided to pay it and opted for three dances total. Luna provided good grindage and it was fairly fun: she knew how to make the most of her ample breasts, but I didn't tip given the added cost.

When the dances were over I went ahead and left as I had return a phone call and start driving back to my namesake city.

License scan? No.

Pros: free parking and no cover, Diet Coke was free, in spite of the DJ, the songs were not cut short, comfy loveseats in private dance area.

Cons: not many dancers, but that's sort of to be expected give the day and time. The club sort of smells like cigarettes? I'm unsure if smoking is allowed; I don't smoke so I'm more sensitive to it, but then I'm also used to Illinois clubs where smoking is done outside. I didn't care for the pricing discrepancy--the dances provided were worth $15, not $20; dances at clubs like All Star in McCook (IL) provide just as much fun (though on a stool rather than a loveseat) for $10.

Verdict: I'm not exactly in a rush to go back, but the research was necessary for this forum. I do hope to visit Dreamgirls some day. Stay safe everyone!

This club used to be a lot of fun and it's gone to shit. I stop in once in awhile and it gets worse over time. I don't know how this place makes enough money to stay open.

Other than Industrial Strip I would say the same about all the rest of the strip clubs in NWI. That is not a ringing endorsement of Industrial but that is the only club in Lake County that has crowds, petite girls, and a money flow that can be seen. My last 3 tours of the clubs on NWI other than Industrial I only spent a fraction of my play money.

Had some work to do in downtown Chicago yesterday morning. Decided to hit at least one strip club on my way back to Michigan. The only one I could verify was open in the afternoon was Fantasy. I got there about 2 pm and was greeted by what had to be an eight foot tall doorman. Biggest guy I'd ever seen in my life. No cover, he just made sure I had my I'd on me. Two other customers and no dancers to be seen. Got a drink from the very pretty blonde bartender and sat down. After about 5 minutes a dancer appeared on stage. Very fit black girl with at most B cup boobs named Ya Ya. Was surprised that she was wearing pasties. After her set she stopped by and asked if I wanted dances and I told her I'd just gotten there and to ask me later. Next on stage was a curvy Latina named Erica with huge real boobs. Again, wearing pasties. During this time I also had to deal with some drunk that wanted to be my buddy. Sat down at my table and started talking away and was so drunk I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I finally asked him it I had invited him to sit with me, and when he said no, I asked him then why are you sitting here? He left after making the comment that I must be afraid that he'd infect me. When Erica got off stage she asked if I was ready for dances and I told her sure. Went back to the dance area which were good size booths with curtains. However they can't close the curtains because that would block the cameras on the opposite wall, one for each booth. Did the 3 for $60 dances. Touching above the waist was encouraged as well as the booty. Anything else was not allowed. As if the cameras weren't enough the giant doorman kept walking by as well. Went back out and sat down and Ya Ya was on stage. Went up and tipped her $5 so she'd stop over when she got off stage. When she was done she immediately went over and sat with the drunk guy. That was my cue to get back on the road. Won't be making a stop here on my future trips.

So, I took a trip a couple of weeks ago on a Friday to see for myself. I haven't been to this place in over 10 years ago, when this was a white club. It definitely is not a white club now. It is a all black club with lots of nice looking ladies and lots of security (inside and outside). Floor dances are for tips. Nude dances in the back are. 3 a song. There doesn't appear to be any VIP service.

390 is in Chicago Heights, like 15 minutes after you cross the state line into Illinois. I don't know what these other guys saying it's in Danville are talking about.

I have never heard of extras at IS, but I have heard about them at 390, but only in VIP and it being a lot of c at sh (like $$ or $$ altogether). But both places do have hot women and full-contact dances.

I've only ever popped into Wiggles once. It's a tiny place and there weren't many girls, and all of them were AA (not a bad thing, just know that going in). I didn't get any extras, but it seemed like the sort of place where they would be available.

Before the owner of IS pursued a liquor license at least 1/3 of the girls readily provided extras to first time customers I'd guess 75 percent of them gave extras to their regulars, those booths are very private if no one is checking on you. Now the girls are very careful about it and only if they know you well. There are probably thousands of guys with stories of extras in the regular dance area at 390, I have quite a few of them myself. I have only been in VIP there once. I don't throw big money at the girls, and don't consider myself as being great at convincing girls to go that way.
