Was traveling on indi, and could have sworn I was getting the eye from a SW. Was on my way back to the barn, so I didn't bother to check it out. A little further on at the next light my uncle was sitting. Don't really think they were connected, but who knows.

Just glad I took care of business earlier so little brain was dormant.

Was taking a drive to a gas station a distance from my home. Drove down slr it was heavy with ham pd. One ham kept just driving up an ddown the road. Talk to one BSW I've seen her before but didn't pull the trigger because the way they were driving down the street. Becareful out there.

Been on SLR from the gas station to about 158th and encountered several friendly faces both in the afternoon and evening. Seems to becoming alive again but most of the activity is on SLR rather than side streets.

Hi guys. I am a long standing member (check my posts if you wish) who lives in the UK and thus don't get the US much. Last time was in 2008. Anyway, I will be making a primarily mongering trip in Oct this year and will be visiting the are for 1 night only. It will be my first time in the area. Having RTFF, I have not come up with much advice on decent motels in the SLR area. I want somewhere that is relatively safe and a reasonable standard and not very close to SLR. It should also be the style of motel where you can park outside the room. Also, preferrably on the Illinois side of SLR. I have searched on Googlemaps and there are a few of the type I want but no idea which are safe and a reasonable standard. Any advice would be much appreciated and please feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to break this to you DL but there isn't anything left near SLR worth getting a close hotel for. If you still wish to do this PM me and I will compile a list. I live a few minutes from SLR and rarely see anyone worth stopping the car for.

Is this the same Cathy that use to be around the motel?

I once saw her opposite the motel, but she had a place off 13th and Bway. Maybe once upon a time she used to stand near the motel.

I saw this Cathy several times in 2010-11 (she had her own place then). She appears to have disappeared within the last two years and her digits no longer work (what else is new?) .
