As for #1 - Timing is everything. Sometimes I run out of time trying to get the schedule to click. I always do tell them I have to cancel and say I am sorry.

I have to admit I am halfway guilty of #1 on your list. I have in the past made appointments with more than one provider, mainly because there have been so many times I've been ghosted myself and by then it's too late to find another. However, I agree that you shouldn't ghost them. Let them no you can't make it, preferably with enough notice that it doesn't ruin their night and they can get other people scheduled.

Sometimes the texting can get out of hand too, especially when you're just trying to get to know them a little first. I think you can tell when they are done and don't want to get any more messages. At that point, I usually tell them that I will leave them alone and get back in touch with them when I am ready to see them.

I agree that you just need to treat them like you'd want to be treated. Just because they are in this line of work, doesn't mean they aren't deserving of respect.

Went to see Zoe last night. Communication was great. Super nice and chill. Walked in and she is definitely my type. We talked for a few minutes and told me about some of her story.
