I got taken on the same scam, she also works the streets near Taco Bell on Washington street.

She was not LE. The cop in the car was probably telling her to get off the street cause if he saw her again he'd arrest her. Or he could have been making arrangements to do her himself.

The best tip I can offer is if you see a gal you are interested in, offer her a ride, nothing more. If she won't get in IMMEDIATELY, leave her be. Or if she directs you to another spot to pick her up, LEAVE. And if she trys to get you to say what you want while she is still outside your car, don't say a single word, LEAVE.

Hi guys,

I’m new to the site and to the hobby. Still looking for a good first experience in fact. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me about an experience that I had a few weeks ago. It was around midnight, cold and a light rain was falling. I was driving east on Prospect. As I approached the intersection with Rural, I noticed an IPD car stopped in the intersection. A reasonably attractive white woman, probably in her twenties, was leaning on the passenger side door, casually conversing with the officer. As I got closer, the car headed east and the girl crossed the street to head north on Rural. I turned left and noticed that she gave me a smile as I passed. When I looked in the mirror she was waving for me to come back. I just waved and continued northbound. I’ve been wondering ever since if I passed up a good time or a sting operation. Does anyone know if IPD works that way? Was she conversing with a co-worker, being hassled, or just saying "Hi" to the local LE? I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to make an approach without risking getting busted. As a newbie I could easily make a stupid mistake that a more seasoned hobbyist would avoid, or pass up a great opportunity that others would recognize in an instant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drove around the CL area today. Nothing to see. Followed Shadeland and 21st in both directions for several blocks, hit the area around the Always Inn twice. No females. I'll try again next week.

Going into downtown, I hit Washington. Didn't see any activity until I passed State. Saw one older black lady (late 30s maybe) and one thicker redhead (cute face, black shirt, lots of hair put up with a hairclip) that may have been working. Saw one awesome looking girl by the Hardees, but I'm not sure she was working, as she kept a constant eye on the ground.

FYI: I'm not the best spotter in the world, being somewhat of a newb. I'd probably miss a lot of girls you can can easily spot. But I lived off of E Washington for years, and have driven that way to work for over 10 years, so I also have a little experience in spotting.

I also saw this today. I am going to be in the area tomorrow, around the same time this guy was. I'll report what I find. Won't have time for anything but a quick few passes and a scouting report, however.

Not regular as far as I know, although I wouldn't be surprised if there were some action there.

Further East of there on Morris, from about Warman to Harding, some action can found, so for some enterprising lady in the area to be around the truck depots wouldn't be shocking.

I'm a driver and the last time in Indy I had an ebony girl look and wave at Holt and Morris. I couldn't stop since I was headed to our terminal.

Is this a place for regular activity? I spend some weekends in Indy and am interested in places I can drive a bobtail (truck without a trailer) to for possible hookups.

No truck stops since I don't want my company's name mentioned on the CB radio.
