Sumo is just a converging site of ads from STG and Megapersonals. So the number and rule about fake ads from those sites applies to Sumo too. Main rule of thumb most of the megapersonal ads are fake especially if they have and area code other than 260. However, there are still a lot of fakes using 260 numbers thus TGTBT rule applies as well as looking for different numbers with the same pics, all good signs to find fakes without wasting time contacting them. Also look at the wording of several of the fake ads, if you see similar wording or style in other ads also likely fakes.
