Posts: 258Canton Repository 6/24 - Chasing hookers
CANTON David Sexton stands on his front porch with a large bullhorn said to be heard seven football fields away and shouts at a prostitute that she's not welcome here.
His voice has been heard much farther away.
State legislators in Columbus have opened their ears to this Canton father who lives in the 900 block of Ninth Street NW.
Sexton's complaints, that prostitutes work so close to the school that his small and yet-to-be-born children will one day attend, helped pass a law that toughens penalties for hookers who ply their trade within 500 feet of a school. His home is 150 feet from Summit School.
To make sure they stay away, authorities will present prostitutes with a new piece of jewelry to accessorize their look — an electronic ankle bracelet. The men who pay for sex also will have the opportunity to accessorize.
CITIZEN-INSPIRED LAW
City Councilman Greg Hawk said that, as a member of the Weed and Seed committee, Sexton presented the idea to increase legal penalties for prostitution within 1,000 feet of a school.
"It was one of our initiatives that we told the Department of Justice we would implement in our community," Hawk said. "We worked hard through our Weed and Seed program to bring about a better neighborhood and the inspiration for this law came from the residents, primarily David Sexton."
The idea was presented to the Department of Justice and Greg White, then the Northern Ohio District's U.S. Attorney, he said. Sen. Kirk Schuring took on the issue, which became Senate Bill 220, and it was approved by the state legislature.
Gov. Ted Strickland need only sign the bill.
"We have not received the bill yet from the legislature," said Keith Dailey, Strickland's press secretary. "It's all finalized. It just takes some time for the bills to be enrolled and sent to the governor's office."
When Strickland receives it, however, he will sign it, Dailey said.
GREATER IMPACT
The impact will be felt farther away than Sexton's neighborhood.
"There are probably over 2,000 children in the neighborhood ... but we've protected every child in our city," Hawk said. "This law protects every child in our state from being exposed (to prostitution). The more I think about it, the happier I am about it. We did something in Canton, Ohio, that impacted every child in the state."
And that's who Sexton was trying to protect.
Sexton said some see prostitution as a victimless crime.
"There are plenty of victims — our children," he said. "Our kids shouldn't have to have prostitutes hanging out at their schools. I've got a son and a daughter and another daughter on the way, and I want to make sure that they're not in jeopardy because we don't have the gumption to do anything about it."
IN BROAD DAYLIGHT
Sexton said about 30 prostitutes work his neighborhood and most of them wind up waiting for their customers on the front lawn of the school.
"We've got sexually disturbed people coming down here, a lot from out-of-state. I've turned in (to police) a Texas license plate number," he said. "If these men can't pick up a prostitute, what's to say they won't pick up your child? In their minds, they're thinking that everybody is a sexual object and that includes your kids."
He was also concerned for his wife.
Michele Sexton said men have driven by her home in search of prostitutes and, unable to find one, have propositioned her many times while she worked in her garden and in her yard. They drive by, staring at her and trying to get her to come to their cars, she said.
One contractor or construction worker drove up to her several times trying to get her to his car, and then drove slowly down the alley staring at her as she walked toward her backyard. Her husband had to leave work early one day to chase him away.
USING WHAT WORKS
The family had little luck in stopping the problem when they called police. But Sexton doesn't blame the officers.
"I'd call and they'd arrest these women and the women would be right back out the next day. There was no bite in the law," he said. "My whole feeling was something needed to change on the judicial level. I think this (new law) is a start."
But then, having a large bullhorn helps get the message across a whole lot quicker for the prostitute waiting for "a friend" at the school.
"There's nothing wrong with telling somebody not to do a criminal act in your neighborhood," Sexton said. "Giving them a verbal 'Stay outta here' warning is all right. But (the prostitutes) don't like that. Because when I'm on that bullhorn, everyone in the neighborhood is coming out of their houses and looking at them."

I cruised around about 2 hours Monday, from 1PM to 3PM. On my way from Massillon to Canton, I saw Tayna, who used to be a SW a couple years ago. I've passed her before and stopped, but she says she isn't doing it now.
Later in Canton, along Fulton I passed 2 sexy babes. The looked, but kept walking. The rain started and I figured it was a dud, and was ready to leave, when to my suprise, I saw Chrissy. I scooped her up and went for a BBBJ. I told her I was saving up for a room with her, but when I saw her sexy body, well, I guess I'll just have to keep saving.

Not every woman in the depressed areas are SW's and not every SW is always looking to work.
CANTON A woman told police that when a man drove up to her and asked for a date, she had to kick him to get away.
The 22-year-old woman told police she was approached at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sixth Street and Wells Avenue SW when a man pulled up in a red Dodge Dakota pickup with a white camper top and a black bug guard on the front, police reports said.
The woman said he asked her for a date, and when she refused, he got out and grabbed her by the arm. She then kicked him to get away, the reports said.
The report is under investigation as an abduction attempt.
There is no reason to draw extra attention to the pick up. My guess is the with the "date" term used they have a history but she didn't want to admit to being a SW or the paper just left that part out. If she says no just move on, why go from a possible solicitation charge to attemped kidnapping?
If you've got a vehicle like the one described I'd keep it out of the zone of a while.

This was in the Canton newspaper Wednesday:
ARREST Megan M. McGraw, 25, of 209 Gilmore Ave. NW, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. Monday at Second Street and Court Avenue SW on warrants charging her with receiving stolen property and loitering to engage in solicitation and additional charges of resisting arrest and drug paraphernalia possession, records said.

Posts: 42There isn't shit in the A any longer... I used to have fun there a few years back.
Most of the drug trade is gone and the SW's seem to leave with it.

I called her the other day and she actually got back to me the same afternoon. We set up an appointment for for 6:00 PM at her room. I get to the hotel and call her but she's running 30 minutes late, then it's an hour, then 90 minutes. She's going to have to get off hooker time and start keeping a schedule if she's going to build a client base.
Once we hooked up it was all good though. She was looking good in a pink bikini and did a little modeling before losing the top. She does have nice firm breasts. After a little play time it was down to business. She still gives a really good BBBJ and I could have nutted right there but I didn't have the time for two shots now so we moved onto the main event. I was a little tired and thought I could last a while but after her BJ it was maybe 5 minutes of mish and I couldn't hold back. She does have some nice "pussy control" as she calls it, and it's a plus looking at that cute face while pounding a tight pussy. I left the average donation and it was on to the rest of my night.
If she can keep a room, a phone and a schedule Krissy could have a nice future off the streets.
