I did read the article and the terms of the settlement.

I am confident that those very smart ladies and their lawyers will figure something out. Then again I never thought they would be closed, so we see how much of a clown I am.

Down here in the south we have aroma therapy spas and even a mediation spa, no massage allowed, that is how they get around the massage license issues. I get a kick out of the literature for the mediation spa, the lovely ladies will show you to a room and give you some literature on how to mediate, but are not certified to instruct you. Too funny. Also they have absolutely no signage, the store front only lists the street number, no big old sign to say, hey old ladies don't you wonder what is going on in here.

After getting lost many times while spa touring Providence RI (very low key) , the first time I did a spa tour of Warren I was stunned to see a billboard on the highway heading into town.

Yea KingI, the "S" twins love my money and the little things I do for them and the girls. Bunny slippers when it is cold, flowers when nice out, pizza on Fridays (not easy sending pizza from 1100 miles away) and Steak & Shake milkshakes on Sundays, the girls prefer strawberry, me I'm a chocolate man. Spent more time in the kitchen, then in the rooms during most of my times at the palace of Warren.

Lazarus. Question. Do you think another possible reason that the "Powers that be" might have used Sun Spa for the press conference is because it had the largest parking lot for the media, and looked much better on TV then most of the other spas? The only other pretty building was the one near the mall, and they ain't going to showcase that.

Noticed today that there is a new Chinese massage therapy place open on state st between hermitage and Sharon. I've never been to the one out on 18 by tam oshanter, but there's usually at least one car or truck there when I pass by. Anyone ever been there?

Don't waste your time, I know the people that have the place and thats not their cup of tea.

I get a kick of out statements like this. I wonder whom would they be? According to what source? How much money do you think the state of Ohio is going to put into this investigation, now that the election is over? Not aware of even one girl interviewed making any claim to being a victim of trafficking, not one criminal charge prosecuted against anyone, local case settled. The FBI may be trying to find some proof of a something they can use but I seriously doubt it. Nice to have you back after three years of not posting.

I wonder how many Spas will attempt to re-open once the year "ban" is up?

If you read the article on tribtodaydotcom on June 26 titled Deal will close spas in city you would know what the city law director stated. He said when the board of health sees their applications, they will look at it with a jaundice eye. You will not see any spas that were raided issued a new spa permit. We can only hope the 2 that remain stay open.

Spa owner fee goes from 750 to 1800, massage girls licence goes from 65 to 640 and they must verify specific training and education. The 2 spas currently open in Warren will probably just raise their prices to take care of this but you will not see the return of any of the old spas. Now if they would move to apartment AMPs that would be great.

I imagine that some of the owners suffered deep financial wounds from be forced out of business. I got to wonder if there was a signed agreement that excludes them from involvement in future endeavours in the city. But then I would have to think some of them got deep pockets and a few friends willing to help. I can tell you IMHO the City doesn't have the resources to continue beating a dead horse, the state has other problems to deal with and the feds don't give much of a shit. After all, there is a cliff our country is about to fall off of, if we could only pick who fell off a cliff, that would be a whole different story. BTW Joker, I never realized just how well your where liked in Warren! You are a part of history with the parlors! Johnny Boy, you are a whole different story. LOL.

I drove by this morning and the open sign was on but no cars in the lot. It sure was a great sight after seeing all the shitty looking closed down spas.

They are going through and pulling as much data as they can from computers, cell phones, etc. They have the text messages sent on the phones to the establishments and individual girls. Still analyzing the data and looking to link to operations outside of Ohio.

I guess some of my texts to my exs will have them scratching their heads. I can think of a couple of connections outside of Ohio they'll be looking at but those lines are probably disconnected and the trail cold or dead ends. So I don't think they're going to find much. It's now 7 months and still nothing. I guess they're not finding what they're looking for. Other than that I got my ying yang going now. Expecting to hook up soon.

Received a very welcome invite to visit a dear old friend at Tiger Spa! For anyone who has ever had the honor of calling Sunny a friend I will extend to you an invite to pay visit, not there for long. I was introduced to a young lady who was very beautiful and also one of the sweetest ladies I have had the pleasure to meet! Sara was a treat to receive an hour long massage from and great to talk with. I will be more than happy to pm with well known seniors. I can say that the facility is very nice, clean and comfortable.

It is one of the nicest facility. Always had been except for the complaints about the front door being opened. This is where some of the best talent came out of or rested at. The rooms are spacious not cramp. The shower room is nice. The sauna small but overall a nice space. Spent many of times there in the past. Glad to see that Sunny is running it for now. My auntie always had good business sense and will do well there. I would recommend based on her presence there. I wonder if Moon's little garden is still there.

Over 6 months have gone by and nothing happened except the closure of 8 spas in Warren and 1 in Newton Falls. No criminal charges to really speak of and a lot of cash and electronics taken but no explanation where they went or who has the goods. Anyone have some facts instead of speculation?

In times such as these its hard to think that some small good might have come out of the spa's closing but I give you this crumb. If the spa's were still open today and you happend to visit Fantasy Spa, after your hot light intergation by former gestapo agent Ada, your ears would be filled with the joyful sounds of the KOW singing Gangan Style over and over as he hoped down the hall ways screatching "Hey Sexy Baby".

From my understanding it was Sun Spa that was the nail in the coffin that brought everybody down. That's why DeWine and the Mayor did their thing in front of it during the raid and that is why the Mayor went there first to post the nuisance signs. That's why KiP keeps trying to post things about Fantacy to draw the heat away (but it didn't work). And no Bookman, Ada is still in town. I'm hanging out with her next week for some celebration and maybe a walk on sunshine or at least the park or a stop by the court to check out the trial.
