This is why I don't think they're cameras at all, except they're in front of exactly two locations known for things.

They don't look like cameras. The large solar-esque panel is not needed for a camera lens to peep through.

If you google "utility pole cameras" you'll get a lot of bank-parking-lot style cameras and a ton of grey boxes similar to this, but far from exact. Have yet to find the exact box.

As far as the size, the camera itself may not be large, but maybe the battery / power supply is and / or the storage aspect. Or maybe if it's sending the feed via wifi / cell /4 g?.

I can't see them being placed there to intimidate you. I suspect literally one person took notice of them and he happens to be a usag member. If they were going to intimate you, to truly make you pull back out of the parking lot so that sunny and tiger close due to lack of business, they would've been at eye level with a big sign that says KNOCK IT OFF.

I looked for myself at both places and there is no other reason for identical boxes in front of the two remaining spas in Warren. I'm sure if the BCI or FBI want to hang a camera on poles owned by the power company or the phone company for whatever the reason they wouldn't tuurn them down. Again, who cares? Maybe LEO shows up at your door with some pics of you pulling in and out and spending your hour there. No problem, I stopped for a massage! Answering that question with the wife or SO standing next to you may be a little awkward. Let alone explaining why you where there once or twice a week over the last three months. Just keep in mind, those cameras are a direct link between the spa and Roscoe P Coltrain. Who has the upper hand there and if there is going to be a raid, will it be a the busiest time when the lot is full and you are balls deep in your masseuse. Oh well, I say roll the dice, wave to the camera, flip it off and live life! Worst case, you make the 6 o'clock news and you did nothing to deserve it! Who knows and who cares, I just wouldn't put myself in that spot.

Not sure I can buy into the DeWine theory. You can't just put up cameras on some else's property just because you're a candidate for public office. Even as Ohio AG, he can't do that without the cooperation of whomever owns the poles.

I do think though, in this day and age of home surveillance and cell phone cameras that literally fit in the palm of your hand, that a box that size is way overkill. That tells me they are there to intimidate or let people know that LEO is on the job, but not to necessarily record anything (which as someone pointed out, only proves you pulled into a parking lot, which is not illegal). If that's the case, they could be totally fake.

Now if these things start popping up in front of known drug dealers' homes (of which Warren has not just a few), then there may be something more to it. But the cops have known for decades what goes on at Sunny and Tiger, and could have easily busted them like they did the rest, many years ago.

Word is that the cameras do not belong to Warren. Can anyone say DeWine? Who is running for Ohio Governor. Heard there a couple of areas that the cameras are in within the block of Tiger. So as now know that there are four cameras total.

Well, as much as I wanted to call you guys a bunch of paranoid creeps, I can't, because it seems you're 100% correct.

I drove down the main drag today and saw exactly two of these boxes on the entire strip. One at Sunny, one a Tiger. The face looks like a solar panel, but Sunny's is facing almost perfectly horizontal, Tiger's is pointing down toward the lot.

It seems pretty obvious to me what they are, but why are they there? What is to be gained by having evidence of cars pulling in and leaving?

On another note, I was driving down the main drag enroute to Tiger. Called and main sure Cookie was still there.

When I pulled in, I was the only car in the lot and saw most of the staff huddled out back, smoking. As I parked, they all shuffled inside.

It was a little off-putting, but what can you do?

Anyhow, into my room walked someone definitely not Cookie. Looked like Cookie, but older with a million more miles on the face. I asked where Cookie was and she goes, "Oh you must've been the one who called. ".

She went and got her and all was well. Another nice session.

But if the first girl was the only girl available, I would've walked out. Pretty rough.

I was there a week ago and it was only Cookie and two new but very old girls, June and Jeannie. I agree with you, I would've walked out if I picked either one of them. June was a tiny little spinner, but pretty old, Jeanie had some fake blonde wig on and looked like 60 something. I love seeing Cookie but I want a little variety. Hoping Cherry, Sophie or Candy come back soon.

Yes, that's a camera and there's one right outside of Tiger pointed at the door and parking lot. I was at the restaurant equipment store next door today and noticed it when I was pulling. I drove by 3 more times to make sure. So be careful and play safe.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I drove by Sunny and something caught my eye. Look up at the telephone pole directly across the street from the parking lot. There is a grey box with a tinted clear front panel right below the street light. Its facing perfectly towards the parking lot. Camera inside?

I pay what I pay for what I think it's worth. If you get suckered into paying more than $100 and you don't want to, that's your fault. Stand your ground if you think $100 is fair. If you want to tip because you think she's worth it, by all means, please do so.

For the guy who drove up from Cbus. Your story is pretty much word for word what my experience was with Cookie. Great time, tossed my salad too *surprise!, and did slightly rush me near the end. She didn't ask for more than the usual tip. I had put it right on the dresser as soon as I got in the room so she would know what was expected of her and that was that.
