Went to meet a provider at the Sunset on Telegraph last week. I pulled up to the room, and as soon as I parked three men stepped out of three black SUVs and started walking toward me. One flashed his gun and his badge. They motioned to me not to move. They walked up to the room and knocked on the door. The provider answered, and they showed her a police sketch and asked if she had seen the man. They were after him for "trafficking" out of the Racetrack Motel next door. She said she hadn't seen him, and they seemed satisfied. One of them turned to me and said, "Go ahead. Have fun. " I stepped into the room with the door open. She was freaking out. We decided to go our separate ways. As soon as we both got back in our cars, the three cops pulled out.

I think I'm scared away from using any of the hourly rate motels.
