Ya, that's why I don't like the club. Girls come, sit down, and instantly try to sell dances or ask for a drink / tip. When you say no they ask for a tip for their time. Like, you came up to me. I don't give participation tips and am very selective about who I approach. I almost never bite when approached. I'm there for the girls who can at least pretend to be genuinely interested in the fact that I am guy. Who in the end has a wallet LOL.

100%, this should be viewed by the girls as a sales gig. The tips and money for dances are their commissions. You can always find a few girls who's are always busy with guys and it's because they have the right attitude to sell it. Girls who walk up and don't at least try to have a conversation and go straight to "do you want a dance" aren't successful with me. You do have super hot ones who get away with that no matter what, but those are outliers. I haven't been to a club in months and not rushing to go back.

The concept that they're trying to do is something that you'd see in Miami, LA, NYC, Las Vegas, or maybe the Dallas / Forth Worth or Houston areas. Despite all the yuppies south of town, the area is still predominantly blue collar. Many predicted that their attempt at this wouldn't last long and our assumptions were, and now are, correct.

Not real sure how much longer this club will be around. Rumors being what they are, who knows, but they struggle to get customers in. Prices are higher than the other clubs. The do a terrible job of promoting. Hot tubs got temporarily shut down. I've heard several reasons why, health dept, the clubs insurance company has an issue with all of the alcohol being consumed while in the hot tubs. I can still go in and have a good time. Even if just hanging with the girls and not spending much money. But its taken a while as a regular to get there. No real concrete info here, just an update as I haven't given one in a while.

I agree, I stopped by there a few weeks ago on a Friday and was not impressed. I found one that gave me good dances but most are not interested in single dances they are all fishing for VIPs. Not what it used to be and I am from the old school as far back as the original Cheeks!

I assume you mean the original cheeks before they tripled the size of the club. It was Great back then. And a better value.

I live closer to Columbus, but I haven't had great experiences at Columbus clubs. I have had lots of good experiences at Dayton clubs, and a few great experiences.

My first 45 minutes at Cheeks was boring. It seemed like it was going to be unredeemable. No dancers on stage from 6:15-7:00. The DJ announced dancers, but none went on stage. The waitress noticed me, but didn't approach. I was on the verge of leaving, when a girl sat down.
