My tip, that you learn a little of the nuances of an area, find a place to park, and walk a bit, if you are dressed down.

Some girls will pass you up, but personally I don't want them in my car, I don't want them to knowingly wave me down at some point, and even more importantly, too many stories of girls using being a guys car as leverage, such as creating a commotion because they know you don't want attention.
