Hello all!

New to the forum scene, stumbled across while trying to do some research. Not very active, just way to cautious these days! First date was with Dayton discreet? If I remember correctly haha that was years ago, have always been secretly hooked. Here's my 2 cents on it. My wife and I were pretty active in the local scene 20 years ago, also. We made a lot of great friends and had a lot of great times back in the day, but as time continued we saw the change happening and it wasn't good. Don't get me wrong, we never once went to a club and had a Playboy grotto moment, but the attitudes and the excessive size of the players involved, caused us to eventually call it quits years ago. Since becoming single again, I've ventured out to a few of the old haunts and I can confirm what's already been said. My biggest problem has to do with the total lack of safe sex being practiced. If you're willing to spend good money to sit around for several hours making small (and often inane) talk with others in the increasingly slim hope that you'll score sometime after two in the morning, then the current swingers' scene is right up your alley. Granted, there are still some "old-fashioned" clubs out there where the primary focus is on sexual pleasure, but after a lousy experience last year in which I drove home with a case of blue balls, I'm reluctant to spend good time AND good money trying to learn which clubs are still worth it.
