Haven't been to a club in a while. I know things aren't quite the same. What's the best place in town in terms of quality girls and then also where can a fella have the most fun?

Dropped someone off at the airport so decided to stop in about 4 pm on Friday. Got hit with a $4 cover and there was one girl there! There were only 3 customers, the dancer had a pretty face but was a big girl. Finished my beer and took off. Won't be back for a long while.

Had to go to the airport the other night and decided to stop by bucs about 10 pm to 10:30 PM.

They scan your I'd and it is 20 dollars to enter. Should have turned around right there.

The girls are nice in the club it seems.

Mostly black girls, they were mostly pretty cute and friendly.

The DJ is loud and doesn't shut up. There must have been like 6 guys working there with ear pieces in their ears acting like big shots.

The whole atmosphere was uncomfortable.

I think they should lower the door fee, stop scanning peoples ID's, fire the obnoxious DJ and maybe get rid of some overhead and quite having so many suits standing around.

Stopped in at X Saturday about 10. Couple girls, few more trickled in over the next hour, half black half white, only 2 looked good to me. Ended up with maybe a dozen guys there, no one spending any money. No one I recognized. Even the non-dancer staff is completely new. Music is all hip-hop. They did reupholster the chairs. Drink prices are up. Don't see much reason to go back.

First thing to say is the club scene in Columbus is weak. Few in club extras and little takeout available.

For a cute day shift Tuesdays are best as Columbus Gold does $10 dances. This brings more girls and of course more patrons. Next door Vanity does 2 for $20 so you can bounce back and forth between the clubs based on your preference and the current selection.

The private dances aren't in a very private area but they are cheap. And the girl selection can be decent at both clubs.

What's the prices for dances on Friday afternoon and Friday evenings?

And are they worth it? Thanks.

WOW. So glad I took the time to read the forum here. From NW Ohio and was thinking about spending some time at a Club or 2 in the Columbus area, but after reading. Think I'll stick with driving an hour to "that state up north" where Clubs, Prices and Dancers seem to be 1000% better than the stories I've read here.

Still the place to be on a Saturday afternoon in the Shoe. But I'll save my entertainment $$ for up north. Be well, Play Safe!!

I keep seeing it said that Vanity has better talent than CG. In my opinion it's a tie to a slight advantage for CG, and all the other stuff puts CG over the top. CG definitely has more thick girls on average, including one or two outright BBW's, and this can elicit a visceral disgust reaction from some guys. I'm not one of those guys, but I feel the same way about stick figures and plastic barbie dolls, which you tend to find with greater regularity at Vanity. Not trying to start a fight, just giving my opinion and some context that might help somebody who hasn't been to either place recently know what to expect. Bottom line is tastes are subjective, and talent is probably the hardest thing about a club to judge from a review, so just check it out yourself.

Vanity has priced itself out of the area. Dances are $25 per song in a very small section of the club and $40 per song in individual rooms. The $25 dances are on a very uncomfortable bench, and most of the dancers don't like giving songs there. A few have even told me they only do the $40 / song room and the ones that will do a $25 / song dance typically stop after one like they don't expect you to go for more than one song. I am not sure the prices of half hour dances at Vanity, but it's likely the same as at CG which is $300. CG also has a fifteen minute room for $150 but not sure if Vanity has that. CG dances are $25 / song in a large area with dividers that allow some privacy, but you can see the other dancers across from you.

Every time I have visited there was maybe ten dancers working, and fifteen customers at most. None of the customers were getting dances, most were there just to drink and watch the TV's, and most of the ones there also visit Columbus Gold next door. I think the main reason people go to both is that while CG has more dancers most are not that hot, while Vanity has a lot more pretty dancers. I would say there are typically 5 dancers I would rate 8 or above at at CG and 9 at Vanity when I visit both. So if the gal you know is hot she would likely do a lot better at CG where customers more often get dances.

As for touchy with the dancers and extras. I have found that Vanity is a bit more restrictive on touching, but a few of the dancers know which rooms aren't monitored as well. The problem is to get touchy with the gals the customer has to go for the $40 / song room, and the only time people go for that is during the two for one songs. There can be some touching at CG, but it's very minimal and depends on the girl and how crowded the club is. I haven't gotten extras at CG in years, but I have occasionally gotten extras at Vanity, mostly her hands in my pants. Anything further and it's going to be a gal that offers OTC, and there are a few.

I would agree with all of this. The girls at Vanity are better looking on average then at CG. CG has a lot of low end chubby ones but I would say their top end is better. I will never understand why Vanity charges 40 a song, except that they work the $20 drink thing while CG doesn't. They do watch pretty close at Vanity, and the girls won't let you get to handsy. CG I will have my hands all over them.

I think Vanity has a better day time crowd. Nighttime is probably a personal preference.

Have a friend who is thinking of dancing here. Was just trying to get the scoop. What's the pricing for dances / VIPs? Can you get touchy with the girls in VIP if they are down? Any girls doing extras? She was thinking of going to CG first but had heard that the house mom pimps out some of the younger naive girls. I have no idea if there is any truth to that. Just hearsay.

I have been to Columbus Gold in the past and have had a decent time. But what I witnessed Saturday night was just awful. Just absolutely awful. I should have got a clue when I was going in and there were six guys from a bachelor party arguing with their driver why he took them there. LOL. It was busy but why I have no idea. The two ladies on stage should have collapsed it. Look, I get different strokes for different folks but there was hardly a good looking woman in the place. Either slathered with 100 tats or 100 pounds obese. Are they that starved for talent? Drinks were pretty weak for $11.50. At least I caught the last bit from the NCAA games at the club. Finished two drinks and left. Thought about going next door to Vanity, but the vibe was shot for the rest of me night. Avoid unless you have a free pass, and even then it may not be worth the time unless they get some new talent.

Similar bachelor party the week before on Friday. About 14 dancers and 4 customers when I entered. Then a busload of about 15 guys came in. The hotter dancers were directed towards the bachelor party, then the next three dancers came up. A heavy shorter blonde, a thin dancer with dreadlocks followed by a really obese blonde. The bachelor party up and left at the third dancer.

There are currently about seven dancers who are decent looking and the rest are meh at best. I only get dances with four of the seven. The problem with bachelor parties is that four of the seven will skip that night or arrive late if the bachelor party is scheduled ahead of time, and three of those four are the more popular dancers.

Columbus Gold definitely needs to be a bit more picky on who they hire, although part of the problem is Central Ohio is in somewhat of a slump when it comes to dancers. They had a good influx a year or so ago when the Dayton clubs basically died, but unfortunately the two most popular clubs CG and Vanity are both run by idiots, and the other two good clubs are gone so the good dancers moved on.

It does tend to pick up a bit around June, but I am not sure if that will occur this year.
