ELYRIA, Ohio (WJW) A New York woman faces charges after investigators say she allegedly solicited prostitution at a spa in Elyria.

Detectives started the investigation after receiving complaints that a business was allegedly offering sexual acts in exchange for money, according to the Elyria Police Department.

On Thursday, detectives with the Elyria Police Department Narcotics Unit went undercover to investigate the you-Spa in the 1000 block of E. Broad Street.

Elyria police say detectives were able to confirm "the suspected activities" at the business.

Through the investigation, 59-year-old Xianxuan He, of New York, was charged with soliciting prostitution.

The case remains under investigation at this time.

I was planning on going there this past week. Looks like it was a good thing that I was busy and didn't have the time. I was going to try again next week, but looks like that's not going to happen.

There used to be an AMP at Asian Town Center on E. 38th near Superior. I think it was called Relax Spa and, as you walked in the main mall entrance, it was immediately to the right.
