Worse case guess is that bottle has never been cleaned, and I am sure she has rubbed plenty of places that lend themselves to fungal growth and subsequently put her hands back on that bottle. Need also to say I tried other topicals, but only the antifungals proved effective. All I know is, it only was a problem where the oil was applied, and I spent the next several days irritated, pissed and pretty apprehensive. Not blaming anyone at the spa, but I am not terribly happy. I do know she refolded the face towel without replacing it and it has me wondering about the larger towel that was covering the table, which I had direct contact with because I used the small strategically placed hand towel that was over it to cover my backside until she came in. At this point I am just relieved to be itch free. The massage did not prove relaxing at all given the fallout.

So, info for you all to mull over and use as you see fit. I will at the very least maintain a strict "no oil" policy if I decide to go to ANY establishment from here forward. Still deciding on that, or something altogether more comprehensive.
