I had a work event about 15 miles from Lawrenceburg this weekend so myself and some of my colleagues always take this opportunity to dip our toes in the local waters. We typically have a break in the afternoon, where we have always (going back 8 years) gone to concepts during the day for a few drinks before we go to dinner. This year was the first time they've ever been closed. Saturday at 4:00, all closed up and no sign of anyone coming soon. So we moved on to a sports bar down the street and came back later that night. In the last decade this is literally the first time I've ever seen this place closed on a Saturday. Even last year, when COVID was much more of a threat, they were open during the day. Not sure what happened here but it was upsetting.

We made it back around 10 pm that night and it was as you'd expect. Lots of great looking dancers but they weren't really working the room, likely because there was probably 8 dudes plus to every one dancer. It's a nice place to throw dollars on the stage and have beers with your buddies, but it kinda ends there (at least on night shift.) I had a similar experience last year and they year before, but we were able to visit during the day and had a great time.

Pros: Attractive dancers, open pretty late.

Cons: no day shift, dancers preoccupied, crowded.

I'm not writing this place off but I'm certainly adjusting my expectations. You can have fun here but it's more bachelor party type fun, you aren't getting extras or takeout. Sure, takeout is possible anywhere I guess but it would take a lot of effort here.

I stopped in on a weekday recently between meetings. Looked to be about 4 or 5 working. Two were obese. One was very pretty in the face but the body was rail thin with saggy skin and no chest. She was wearing a boustierre with cups about 3 sizes too big. Had signs of hard living for a decade or two all over her. Went to the playpen at 4 pm today. $5 cover charge, Budweiser was $4. There were 5-6 girls there, Allie was head and shoulders above the rest. Got a half hour VIP with her for $120, talked about extras but she wasn't having it.

You could get away with a lot more touchy feely stuff about 10-15 years ago. The ones around here have always sucked. We used to take road trips to Brads Brass Flamingo couple times a year and even used to play in their golf outings. But I guess if I lived close enough to one I could see myself trying to work on some take out.

For the guys who can't look at pussy without having to have sex or jerk off. Yes, strip clubs are not for you. I prefer a strip club atmosphere over a traditional sports bar or dive bar any day of the week. This is unfortunate. I'll be out that way for work next month and I'll see if it's any better. I haven't been there in 6 or 7 months but I'm usually happy with the roster compared to what you get in Northern Kentucky. Day shift is always a crap shoot, though.

The cover at The Playpen is up to $10, that being said prices for lap dances and VIP are still a lot lower than those at the Bull and Ass. The one on the east side of Monmouth, the Ass I think, they want $60 for a 2 song dance and $180 for 15 minutes in the VIP w / no drinks as part of the package, it takes it out the affordability range, especially since they often have inexperienced dancers there.

In response to BA's post, it's a different experience than others, I enjoy the tease and roaming hands experience with the right dancer myself, but more importantly it's led to many UTR "relationships". It's not a cheap vetting process but it sure can be a fun one!

Hit the pen on a weeknight last week. First time I've been to a club since they cut off the covid relief. Holy sh*t, I've never seen more dancers at that place. I counted 18. I've also heard there's now a $5 cover charge even during the day, is that right? If so, that combination of price increases doesn't justify that place in my opinion. I never went to the VIP area but in the past it was pretty easy to get a HJ just by buying a girl a drink and sitting in one of the corner booths.

It was also pretty easy to find a girl who would meet on her off days. I'd get some dollar bills, sit at the stage and let them stick their tits in my face. When I found one I'd like I'd ask her to join me and then I just ask if she was open to meeting alone and, if so, how much? All they can do is say "yes" or "no". If they say "yes", get their digits and start making your plans.

Went to the PlayPen two days in a row. They open at 1 PM, you generally have to wait until 1:30-2:00 for the dancers to get dressed and come out. A bottle of Bud Light will run you $5. A couch dance costs $20 or two for $35. Sometimes you'll get lucky and the song that comes on is like 6-7 minutes long.
