Thanks for all the advice. I wish I had the nerve to monger like all of you. It would be much cheaper and a heck of alot more exciting. I've done the independent thing and am now thinking of the cost considering the embarrassingly short time I am with them. I did, for a second, consider CL. But even if legit, they are almost the same cost. I'm going to look at the monger rules and perhaps dive into this real slow.

The Mongers I have talked to, it is about the "Money & the Hunt". I think the money is more a factor, then anything else.

For me Money is a factor and the Hunt is Second. Safety and other concerns are important, but it is about money. If I had the money of a wealthy man I would do Escorts. Ask Cobe Bryant .... if he had done that, he would have never gotten in trouble and Escorts are considered Pro's that keep their mouths shut. Heidi Style !!!! That suppose to work in Theory.

I can't afford to spend 75-100-150 or more for SEX. I mean I would have to take a ton of Viagra just to make certain that I got my money's worth. The times I have spent money on an escort, it was about one nut and then it's over, so you do everything else before you Finish Off. Some you can get all you want for an hour or the time you pay for, but you better know her rules well before you start. I am just way too "Thirty" to pay that kind of money for SEX.

A street SW, for the same money can get you two girls at the same time, and for sometime over an hour. Normally you are not that lucky, but it happens, and you still have only spend 50-60 buck, and get two nut over the time.

If you can get straight again, you can get another quickie with a new SW, for a third one before you decide to go home. That is a very good day. Before the Crack Down it was not Uncommon.

If for any reason you get ripped off by either an Escort of a Street SW, the amount of money taken can make a World of Difference. If a street SW takes me for some money, it is rarely more than 20 bucks.

If an Escort or AMP, Rips-U-Off, it can be for more than 100+ dollars. That makes a difference.

For that type of money, I would go after the Escort, and possibly cause a scene, and argue over my money. I can not afford to loose that kind of money. I know I should let it go, but my first reaction is to get my money back.

If the SEX is NOT GooD, I won't be out of 100's. Escort often have a lot of Rules .... Do's & Don'ts. With my money, I want very few rules. And sometimes they rely on LOOKs and Build, instead of Skillz.

With a Street SW, again I would still only be out 20+ buck or less.

I am going to be finished in 15-20 anyway, and I get more than NOT, what I want, with few rules, arguments, or Do's and Don'ts. Street SW's can't just rely on Looks and Build, (Yea some do), they have to show some Skillz.

Most have some decent Skillz, and give you a lot for your money.

The Cleanliness Factor of great concern, and the Drugs is a Heavy factor too.
Street SW's do a lot of Jones-ing and Drugging, but that does not mean Escorts don't use drugs too.

The Next Big Factor is being disease "FREE". That is a greater factor to me than Money, so I do want I need to to reduce that factor. I always "Always" use a condom, but I don't like condom BJ's.

Just look at other areas around the Board and you will know, compared to our City.

There are more Part Timers on the dating sites working the net, and only asking for 50 or less for what they would give for free. They have less rules than Escorts and are Safer than Street SW's.

Plus, you are only paying a 20-30 buck more than the street price, and at least 75-100 less than the Escort price.

It would just get too long if I tried to write a post in detail, so if I did not answer the question in a way that you understand you can, I tried my best in the short time I had.

Some people are Not, Cut Out for Street Action, and others like myself can't afford Escorts. So To Each His Own!

Safety:

Picking up SW's is fairly safe. The chances of getting mugged and or killed is extemely low or nill unless you go to their room. Most SW's are nice girls and believe me they are far more concerened that some guy is going to beat or rape them.

If you take the proper precautions the chances of getting arrested is fairly low. Just follow the 22 rules of mongering and drive a good distance from where you pick up the SW and you will be fine.

Tough question to answer. Kinda like "Why do you prefer a Chevy versus a Ferrari?" It's all a question of value, mileage, and maintainance costs.

Value: Internet independent provided is probably 10-20x more expensive than a SW and for me, not worth it.

Mileage: My limited IIP experience (combined with coversation with other mongers) tells me IIPs have a more limited menu and a much longer list of "off limits" rules than SWs. Also, pushing those limits and expanding the menu really hits the wallet.

Maintainance: Again, based on limited experience, it seems like IIPs start to get more expensive with repeat business, expecting more "stuff" over and above the business transaction. They're taking advantage of the addiction factor here (you've come back several times so you much really like it - therefore you'll probably pay more if they start raising the ante). SWs seems to become a better deal as they get to know you because they're also thinking about the safety thing. Much better for them to get into a car they know with a predictable monger than an unknown car/monger. Could be LE, could be rough, could be worse. The safety you provide as a predictable repeater becomes part of the cost of services. Rarely so with IIPs.

IIPs probably provide a sense of safety in the beginning but that difference probably evaporates as you get some street smarts and intuition about what's going on around you. Once you get that intuition and don't do stupid things that just invite rip-offs, transmission, or trouble - I'm not sure IIPs are better (at least for me).

The one situation where I think IIPs are a better choice are traveling. Just like Cincinnati, most cities are pretty tough to monger successfully on a short one-time visit where you don't have a lot of time, don't know the strolls, don't know the faces, don't know the really dangerous intersections, and don't know the local LEO tricks. That's a recipe for disaster with a capital D.

So - better is in the eye of beholder and everone's definition of better is the right one for them. I can't afford to buy a Ferrari, can't afford to put gas in it for the miles I drive, and can't afford to pay the shop $750+ for an oil change so I drive a Chevy. A Ferrari is an awesome, great car - just not for me.

If you live here in Cincy, looking for for SW's is difficult but not impossible.
When you are looking read and know the rules of Mongering. It is basically
Common Sense, and common sense really is not common, so it should be called Uncommon Sense. If you are not good at picking up ladies, then don't act like you are. You may miss a lot of women out, but don't jump at every chance. Drive the area, no more the 2-3 time and never use the same course. Drive in different directions. Stop at the Corner Store and buy something (i.e. a pop, gum, chips) just to look at the area. Stopping doesn't look safe, but 99% of the time it is. Just park close by the store. Once you become use to it, you can park a little farther away, to walk up there. The girls see you, and get use to you. They do pay attention, well most times they do.

Make certain you separate your spending more and put in an extra 10-15 in case you meet, a STAR and she wants more, than normal. You should have to spend more than 20-25-30 for FS. From any price FS is normally only about 5-10 more. Try to start with FS, then you can change as you wish, to something less.

Find yourself a Favorite spot if you like the outdoor service. Avoid doing it in the car if at all possible. And "NEVER EVER" do it on a "No Outlet" street. Always have a way out, so avoid one way streets too, if possible. One way can't always be avoided, but take caution and care.

Learn to get yourself a snack and eat it at a public location, where you can see what is going on. A lot of people eat their lunch and dinner in the car, in OTR/WE, and are not hassled. Stay, away from the dope corner areas.

You will be SURPRISED, at how often the SW's of the area will walk over to you in the car, or give you the eye, once they know you are open and looking.

It will take time to learn everything you need to learn, and you will make some mistakes. You have read the post on them. Still, you will learn and get better.

If you are from Out-of-Town, don't even bother.You will need someone from Cincy who mongals to guide you. And not just anyone, but someone who knows the area and the procedures.

Don't Have much to tell but on Saturday night I watched LE round up girls and guys sitting at the boarded up apartment building steps on Race and McMicken. It was obvious LE drove up and began questioning them and next they were search for drugs. They were all rounded up in a paddy wagon.

It's been quieted on this board.

I can remember before Uncle Simon broke it up, there use to be a couple of back alley brothels before you get to the UC School of Applied Science. There was also several along that alley off of e. Clifton. These place were working like a well run business. And at the time 10-15 was the going rate so you know that was long ago. Before crack destroyed the SW trade.

And along 8th street LPH, with other places working full time. There were working small brothels all over the place, and you could walk right pass one and never know it. The got busted because they started dealing drugs more than girlz. The profits were to great, thus too tempting!

Uncle Simon changed everything, but then came crack! Crack kill the trade, and brought real crime into the game. Now the pimps are making mre money selling drugs than girls, and then the turf wars began, and they gangs then took over, and crime, drugs, and murder, became big business, in the poor communities all around the country.

Things will never ever be that way again. Not here!
