Thanks for the update. Like many I am devastated by by the news. I thought I knew her name but came up empty handed. I will let it go and stick to the beauty of this site.

Silk was my first hobby experience here on USA. She was very kind and accommodating. She will be missed.

HL, I appreciate your difficult balancing act- honoring Silk's privacy with the concerns of those here on the board. FWIW, I don't see folks' concerns here as nosy- more wondering if they somehow missed a self-destructive pattern. All death is tragic, but especially in someone so young who had worked so hard to get her life to where she wanted to be.

I for one never had the pleasure of meeting her in person (my all time record for worst luck 5 appointments went bad, being no one's fault!) She was amazingly conscientious and responsible in dealing with issues, as well as being funny and positive. I am truly sad I never got to know her. Condolences to all.

My heart is so heavy I didn't sleep being new to the community Silk always had a help hand and a kind word for me. Silk you will be truly missed and I am grateful that I was able to know you and may you have eternal peace that was promised.
