As someone who hasn't had insurance since 2015 planned parenthood is the way to go. They don't charge too much and they'll charge less based on income. Planned Parenthood can also help you get medicine affordably if you do have anything.

As for the process most STD's can be found in a piss test. Just pee in a cup and you're done. HIV is tested for by drawing blood. It doesn't take long to get your results back just a few days.
