Yes, the scams will always get more sophisticated. It's what they do. They watch these forms just like we do and they see what works and doesn't work. The fact that it's a local number doesn't really mean anything because there's plenty of local people that will attempt to scam you. There's never going to be way to avoid scams completely but we can all keep using referrals sharing information and thinking with a big head as much as possible.
