Do a google image search.

If the contact is an email, it is a scam.

If they mention paypal, venmo, cashapp it is almost always a scam.

Out of area phone #, 80%+ scam.

If location is 'downtown' 'near you' etc. Yep see above.

Those are the easy ones.
