I hope this post helps and shows you gentlemen there's a lot more out their then S Main St.

The difference between going to S Main St and going to other bars is the difference between going to buy fish and going fishing. Sure there's entertainment value in fishing but your never sure you'll have a fish dinner.

I still appreciate the post, but in a way those 2 other strip clubs sounded no better to me than what you can find I guess on a random day at the Main St. Location ones (true Gats can have good takeout options at a premium rate), I almost went out last night to search Main St. Ones, but stayed in. I usually go your route though and just hangout at a cool local bar Called Franks place on market and talk to some cool bartenders, I might checkout the Akron valley bars, or Wing warehouse in Norton who knows it's my Sunday Fun day!

Over the past many weeks I've been weening myself of off Akron's "gentlemen" scene and just hanging out at the pubs and bars in Kent. I'm not creeping on KSU chicks but the "normal" townies and this weekend was no exceptions. During my hiatus, I have had good drinks, good food, chatting to random strangers and have even gotten a few numbers and other things.

Regardless. Friday I did my thing then thought I should ping Jen's.

I remember when Jen's was great and I am hoping someday it will be great again. When I pulled into the parking lot, they have a sign out front stating "no cover charge". That's a big FU to Dreamers / Boom Boom so that's a plus in my book.

Long story short. $6 beer (typical Jen's) less then 5 customers and about the same amount of girls and the "ladies" weren't anything to write home about.

I guess it's a vicious cycle. No girls = No Men. No Men = No Girls. Someone smarter then me will have to brake that chain.

Anyway, probably won't be worth revisiting till Oct / Nov to see if they fixed that.

Others on here complain about girls on their phone or with their regulars. I found if you ask the girl for a dance or drink, they will be chatting / drinking with you with no problems.

Normally they have young thin girls, young thick girls, young goth girls (I think you get the picture) but tonight was different. Kind of a lame scene and the young one's their didn't really grabbed my attention.
