Looks like pretty much all the akron clubs / bars are closed based on their Facebook pages. Hopefully it's only for a couple weeks.

I would think STG would get quite busy with additional ads for massage, or private dance sessions, etc.

Not sure the status of this place and might be worth checking out. Or maybe not.

The old "Chasers in the Country" on 18 in Rootstown turned into a members only club about a year or two ago. Pay a cover and get a day's membership. Last time I was there it was fully nude and there were a couple good looking girls but the vibe was way off, and the stench of cigarette smoke was nauseating. Didn't stay long enough to find out if they serve alcohol or if it was still BYOB. Reminiscing a bit. Me and my buddies had some great times there partying until the sun was almost out many years ago).

Chasers changed their name to omega men's club a few years ago. I've been there a few times after the akron bars close because they stay open to like 4 or 5. But I've never gotten any extras out there. Might be possible but not as obvious as the akron bars. I don't know how this shutdown would affect them. I think they would still have to be closed though because it's a large building so a large group of people could gather. But they are only open on the weekends so it wouldn't be clear for a few more days.

A real Utr place would have to operate like an old time speakeasy. Only place in northeast Ohio I've ever heard that fits the bill is up on out in bay.

Damn. If those areas are shutting down then so will Akron. Hopefully this idiocy passes quickly and they reopen, remember your basic hygiene and if you have forgotten what that is then I recommend a Google search on the subject for your own health if no other reason. Also, stop hoarding toilet paper, it's a respiratory infection not explosive diarrhea.

I saw on the news that DeWine closed all bars and eat in restaurants across the state. Are the SC's closed or open because they serve alcohol? I'm unable to make an Akron run this week to find out. Answers are appreciated and stay safe out there.

Don't know about Akron but I've heard all SC's in Canton / Belden Village are shutting down. Christies, Diamond Royal, Gatsby's all will be shutting down.

Download the TouchTunes app. Have 2 or 3 songs in your library. Personally, with 3 songs, I can be in a VIP about 25 min. You can see what's up and plan accordingly. You can also fast pass the jukebox and play your songs first but it involves more credits.
