So as I wrote a while back I got a text from a number I didn't recognize from my google voice account which I use for the hobby. This person seemed to know my name. I am curious enough.

To actualy pay for those reverse look up services. I don't want to because I am concerned they will make it difficult for me cancel and try to charge me for a full month.

So my question is".

- does anyone know of a good and legit service where I can pay for one look up.

- Which services have you all used, I know there are some scam sites.

- If someone currently has an active account would you be willing to look up a number for me?

Whenever you are about to do something you do not want to be traced back to you I cannot understand why you would use such an email address as you did! NOT SMART!

Now, right now, go get another Google or Yahoo or some other email address to be used STRICTLY for things like this and NEVER use it for anything else! NEVER NEVER NEVER use your regular email or cell phone for these things!

You probably got away with it this once but NEVER do that again if you want to stay unknown.

Also, when you buy your burner phone, buy it with CASH only as well as any extra time cards you get. Buy it somewhere at least 20 miles away from your home and use pay phone there to activate the burner phone. NEVER give you real name or real anything else!

I don't know if google voice can be traced to your e-mail, but I do remember reading a tip that you should turn off the default reply that says its a google voice number to help with discretion.

Depends on how cautious you want to be. Personally I setup a hobby-only gmail account, then got a google voice number for that. Only log in when you need to use it then make sure you log out each time.
