Whenever I have a situation like this, no matter the context, I always check the actual transaction history in the app itself or check my bank if applicable. So if I don't see a + (like a refund) following the ‐, I grow suspicious. That's where you'll see the real deal.
Sorry to hear some girl pulled one over on you.
I have always paid cash, and will continue to pay cash. Cash, for the most part, is untraceable. But any kind of electronic transfer, is traceable. If she doesn't like cash, too bad, there is always one that still accepts.

You're not the only one using cash. What concerns me is why Hope1945 is covering for a thief as that's not what this board is for. However, since I pay cash, it isn't an issue for me.

I visited with a performer I will not mention and afterward she wanted to be paid by cash app. That wasn't a problem so I got my phone and paid her. That was the beginning.
Shortly before I was dressed and leaving my phone pinged and said that the cash app entry I had just made was being refunded for an unspecified reason. She looked at me funny and said, "you cheating me. ".
So dumb me sent her the amount agreed upon again and I left. Come to find out the message was a fake and I paid her double. I don't know how that happened, Cash App doesn't seem to know what happened either. Lesson learned, back to cash for me.
Beware, it's the season for rip offs and scams. Good time to retire for me.

No, I only use cash. I'm dubious of using an app for the reason you posted, and I think it makes scams easier to pull.

Zero judgement for anyone who uses something that is easier and makes sense for them. But there is no way in hell I'm using anything traceable. Absolutely nothing in the digital space is a secret.

Cash is king. There's a reason the government wants people to stop using cash.

I typically use cash for first visits.
As for "illegal activities" it still has to be proven. People who get caught are implicating themselves through action or illicit conversation.

So let me make sure I understand this. You got scammed by a performer / provider and you refuse to provide info on her that would aid your fellow mongers in avoiding her?

So this provider did it? So why wouldn't you call her out here? I use cash app a lot find it easier than having cash on me and safer in my head at least.
So did message come from cash app or a message that looked like it came from them? You should screen shot it and send it to cash app and get her banned.

She is hanging around Brook & Azalea w a shaggy tattooed bf and borrowing the use of rooms for business a few times a day; apparently she has discovered the joys of the needle, so catch her while she's still hot. NOT Jenny you saw -- friend has contact with her and she is neither walking or UTR any longer.

Chester
Went to visit a buddy in Chester and stopped to get gas at the Walmart there. Young single Hispanic mom of 3 out there with a sign needing help. She was kinda cute probably early 30's 150+lbs. I had people with me so didn't address here just got my gas and go. Hopefully another monger saw her as well and can report. This was Friday.
