It is all personal preference and how comfortable are you if your PII is out there. With these agencies there is always a risk of LE action.

They contacted me several times to send my PII and I think I posted about it as well. NO Freaking way was I giving them that info.

Others do NOT ask for it, what makes them think they're so special specially for someone who has a ton of references.

IMHO you have to be nuts to send that kind of information. If major retailers and banks can screw up security with sensitive personal information, what makes anyone think a half-assed agency that may or may not be here tomorrow and is operated by folks who skirt the law will secure it? As we say, think with the big head.
