Thinking about going to CCR one day next week. For the people that have been recently, who are your favorite dancers and why? Will look for the most popular names on the schedule to plan my visit. More "extra" opportunities the better.

I started coming to this club a couple of weeks ago because one of my favorite dancers started to work there. I avoided this club for several years because of its reputation for price gouging. ($200 cover charge during Covid). My first visit was fine but this week, they instituted a "pay for tips" scheme that just just brought back the gouging reputation and has turned me off.

I'm not a VIP room fan so I only go to clubs to talk to a favorite dancer. I think other people have discussed the high costs of the VIP rooms, which is where the price gouging comes in now. I'm happy to spend generously in tips to sit with a favorite dancer, which I'm sure some people think is foolish, but that is the sad state of affairs in DC clubs.

As for description, it is a rather small pasties club with two stages and the tables are so crowded together that you can't really walk around easily even though on the outside it seems like a big club. The decor is nice with modern lighting, but it is too dark.

I've only been in the daytime, which is a $5 cover charge, it's $20 at night. They have a nice food menu (which is on the website), but drink prices, although not cheap, (Coke $12), is pretty standard for DC. The dancers I've spoken with don't engage in trying to get you to buy $35 shots one after the other or gang up on you to buy a $200 champagne bottle, as they do in places like Camelot.

There are several very hot girls and their schedules are on the web site.

They have a sign and automatic recording showing the lineup, but the recording constantly pushes the VIP rooms. So the rooms, must be where their business model is oriented.

But what irritated me was that you can now no longer get change from the waitresses for ones to tip the dancers. I'm happy to tip the dancers after each set. You have to go to a machine that charges for ones. ($2 for a 20 dollar bill). Their sister club, Good Guys, had a dollar dispenser but it was free.

So in addition to price gouging on the ATM fees, the message is "If you want to tip the dancers, you have to pay the club first. " So I guess some customers will just and drink and not tip at all. It's a vicious circle.

So if you do go, I'd advise getting your cash ahead of time.

That's fair. And in line with what I said about the stripper basically being open to doing it for nothing. I don't think that that's common at CCR because it's more of a spot for "regulars", who have their consistent "customers".

Strip clubs in MD on the other hand are far more open to immediate negotiations.

I'm no kind of strip club expert but I have been to clubs where my first time in I've broached this subject and immediately entered into negotiations. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that CCR is not that type of place but still, I don't expect strippers to act like they're shocked by the idea. It's probably for the best, the place is quite close to me and if it had worked I could go broke quickly. The whole thing where you're supposed to tip every girl even if you're not remotely interested in them is something I've never seen before and a real drain on the wallet that I don't appreciate. At a more typical club for the same expense I could have gotten a couple lap dances and gauged the temperature without having to be so blunt. Hopefully work will take me somewhere with a better scene sometime and I can try again.

One of the dancers at CCR has been on Seeking quite while. She's got a lot of tats, most strippers do IMHO, and wears glasses. She's also BFFF with an occasional porn star and they're on IG as well. Point being if you want the stripper you might need to go beyond the club. I definitely know it's not like getting it at the club, but at least I can reminisce the NYC nights bank in the late 90's and Baltimore in its glory back then.

This reminds me of an incident several years ago. I stopped in to a DC club (since then closed) after work and saw a new dancer give a good show on stage. We chatted after and I mentioned I hadn't seen her before. She said she was auditioning there. After some more chat she asked if I could give her a ride to another club to audition there. Sure, so off we went. On the way we stopped in a secluded spot for a quick bbj. Everyone was happy. I got a nut; she got a ride, and left $25 richer. Sometimes the stars can align.

Finally she said she had to go on stage but would love to come back.

I took the opportunity to beckon a young blonde girl over. She was very sweet, sat next to me, and let me put my arm around her. By this time I had to be home fairly soon so after buying her a diet coke (her request) and chatting with her for 15 minutes I asked her about dances. She brought over a laminated sheet with pricing starting at $60 for 10 minutes and going up. Since I didn't want to waste that kind of money for just blue balls I was up front with her and told her I was looking to get a nut. I've read online that you can't offend a stripper and should just be straightforward but I learned today you absolutely can. She immediately stood up and walked away without saying a word. At that point I wondered whether there was any hope at all and no other girls were giving me any attention. Then, the original black girl came back as she had said she would and I figured I'd check the temperature.

Never stepped foot in a sc but always fantasized about it, especially after reading up on other guys visits to DD on the Jersey board whose private dances ended with head. I don't think the temperature of the room is right here in nova for that kind of thing, but if it were I'd imagine that perhaps you have to frequent the place more than once. It's quite possible the ladies weren't necessarily offended by you so much as potentially paranoid as you were a "new" face soliciting things that maybe gave them pause to pursue out of fear you could be LEO? Maybe you did have to take a chance on that private dance and see where it goes. I totally understand not wanting to take the risk of blowing $60 for nothing, but sometimes taking that bait shows them you’re a man of your word. Not sure about this area (va / md / dc) but I've had experience in SC and Atlanta but depending on the quality of the girl will cost you.

Ever since Fuego closed, the likelihood of in local club action is probably non existent. However, if you go late (1 hour before last call), flash some cash, have a room nearby, you can probably sway a dancer to come by later for a private dance. I just ask: do you do private dances? I am staying nearby, I have drinks ready, let's continue there.

I have been hitting an SC at least once a week with my girlfriend. It's turned into a fun routine. We are total opposites, different races, ages, body types. Which makes at fun as we generally stand out in the crowd and get a lot of interaction.
