I'm not sure whether I'd call this "Puritan bullshit" considering that Virginia has moved far to the left in recent years. Just as there are plenty of do-gooders on the right, they exist on the other side of the spectrum as well. The Polaris Project is a prime example. What these professional scolds are doing is trying to label all consenting adults behavior as sex trafficking whenever an exchange of money is involved.

While I realize "sex trafficking" is frequently used as a blanket attack against consensual SW, and having only read the synopsis, I'm confused how you expect this law to change the nature of grey market independents?

It seems specific to minors. The overwhelming majority of dreams I see posted in the beltway, and ads posted, are about women in their 30's and 40's pretending to be in their 20's and 30's.

I'd also take it with a grain of salt. This line of business has never successfully been stamped out. Anywhere at any point in time.

The proximity to politics can't be ignored, and is the likely culprit behind other complaints.
