Spa: Entrance is located on the first floor of mixed office building / medical building. Entrance is not hidden and in plain view. The first door leads to a man trap, which you wait in for them to answer the buzzer. There is a small fridge located in the man trap with the water / candies that you can take at the end. Once admitted, you are taken upstairs to a selection of three rooms. Lilly was my provider for this session, and she provided a decent service. I would describer her as a young attractive Korean woman with a heavy reliance on makeup, and an attractive curvy body. Lilly was dressed in her traditional black sun dress on this occasion. I was led upstairs and asked how long I wanted to stay. I replied one hour and handed the. 8 to her. I accepted the TS and prepared. After a decent wait (not typical here) I was led to the shower and told to lay down. Lilly provided an attentive shower, which paid attention to all of the good parts. I would rate her TS as a 6/10. Once complete, I was dried off and led to the room where I received a medium massage. Her skills were not terrible, just very repetitive. She basically used the same gesture multiple times on different body parts. It was relaxing and she genuinely was attempting to give a decent massage. I would rate the massage as 6/10. Once Lilly was done with the feet, I was given a very short soft touch with her fingers and asked if I would like to flip over. Lilly knew me and immediately proceeded towards the end massage where I received a standard NOVA finish. She did do a great job in prolonging the final act, and was encouraging mutual touch. I would rate her extended service as a 6/10 as well. While Lilly is an ok option if you draw her, I would prefer any of the other talent at this location. Lilly is IMO the most attractive provider here, however she simply does not offer much in the extended services section (this was my 3rd session with her). While I admit that I am not exactly the most persistent, I have made it very clear to her that I would enjoy other services from her, if offered. Tip left: . 6 I would recommend if NOVA was desired.

I went to the other place on Lee Highway in Arlington the one near Joe's Pizza.

This may have already been reviewed but I unfortunately missed it.

Met by a heavy set mid 30's provider. She was the only one there.

She took me to THE room and I got ready. I asked about the table shower and was told it is a table scrub.

The massage was a 2. 5 out of 10 if I am being generous.

Then the scrub she brought in a bucket of tepid water and a wash cloth. It was about as satisfying as to make the massage feel like the highlight. I have had some scrubs with hot towels and they were nice.

Finally she asked me to flip and gave the same type of massage on my front then put my hand where hers was supposed to be. I asked her to do it and she said no you and I will help.

I got dressed and left instead. House was 6 and that was way to much. I will not give them a 2nd chance.

I used to go to HBW but have not been since the name change. I heard they were straight massage but then someone said they got sold again and were better.

Went there about 6 months ago and had the same experience.

Nice lady, but haven't really been back since.

First review. Visited a spot that had been there for years but just changed management. Second floor over a nail spa that offers massage too. Chinese 50 ish only one working, average, small body maybe b's. The place now has a door bell and the main door is locked. Went after 5 saw no one in the hall but there is a dance studio on that floor too. Small place clean used to have a table shower but the bed is gone and was not offered. Tables have liners and a fresh one was put on after the visit. Got an hour, did not look at clock going in but the massage which was nothing to write home about was fast. Nothing to indicate a good time and had the feeling if offered it was not going to be good. Got a one hot towel wipe of back and legs. On the flip got a chest rub with chest pressed into my face. Just still was not feeling it, went on to again quick rub of legs towel covering then the killer got a wipe of the chest and legs with same towel now cold. She lifts the covering towel takes a look and ask if I want everything massaged. I politely decline and get a little more time of a head and face massage. Not sure but it felt like 50 minutes maybe total. Said has another girl but was in NY.

It's been a while since I set foot in a Northern Virginia AMP, but this is the tipping guideline I use:

40 - standard HE with limited roaming (more, of course, for better roaming or more clothes removed).

60 - BJ / HJ combo with more emphasis on HJ.

80 - BBBJCIM (rare in NOVA).

$ - FS (even rarer in NOVA).

This is on top of the house fee, which is typically 60 for the half.

Reposting because Tom brings up a great point that I didn't iterate. That being the last 2 options are extremely rare in NOVA. I don't want anyone misinterpreting my post thinking you can get a BBBJ or FS simply by coughing up the expected dough, only that if you managed to win the golden ticket so to speak that's the ballpark give or take youd end up spending (220-250).

In NOVA, a monger should be going to an AMP looking for a good massage and seeing if he can snag a little extra. If you're looking for more and the massage is simply a means to an end, then I would simply refer you to something along the lines of Shirlington or taking a trip out to Maryland.

It's been a while since I set foot in a Northern Virginia AMP, but this is the tipping guideline I use: Great guideline. Sue at one tree did nothing special and bitched at $40. Stand our ground that is plenty for standard handshake.

40 - standard HE with limited roaming (more, of course, for better roaming or more clothes removed).

60 - BJ / HJ combo with more emphasis on HJ.

80 - BBBJCIM (rare in NOVA).

$ - FS (even rarer in NOVA).

This is on top of the house fee, which is typically 60 for the half hour and 80 for the hour on this side of the Potomac. So if you're lucky enough to get FS in a Northern Virginia AMP and you tip according to the schedule cited by GripNSlip, you're looking at a total of 220-240 for an hour. This compares to 160 for an alleged hour with an Asian crapshoot provider (more like 30-45 minutes if you're lucky), or anywhere between 180 and 250 for an hour with a typical escort in this area.

The reason some providers are asking for higher tips is because far too many mongers have been willing to pay them rather than holding the line. So that makes it more difficult on mongers who are unable or unwilling to tip on the higher scale you and GripNSlip cite.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but I speak as a monger who's earning less than he did prior to the Great Recession. I'm also trying to keep prices reasonable for my fellow mongers. Not all of us living in this area are filthy rich.

Sue from Pine Tree in Fairfax next door to Garden Spa, gave ok massage with nothing special on the handshake. Shorted me 10 minutes and bitched about $40 tip with 85 house fee. Wanted 60. Guys hold your ground or we will all pay the price eventually. Also met monger in parking lot from Garden spa. Don't. Believe the tipping details on rubmaps if you subscribe to it. Stoped in garden spa was crowded. Went next building down to pine tree. Got sue. 70 lbs soaking wet. Used Visa gift card and charged 85 house. I was already on the table and did not argue. The way I try to justify it, is if it's standard NOVA: . 4.

If it's above the standard, ie: takes off clothes, let's you nurse, you have fun then I go. 6-. 8 depending on how much I enjoyed the exp / provider was hot /massage was amazing/went above and beyond.

.8 for BBBJ seems a bit short personally I would tip between $- $.2 range again for the same reasons above.

FS: $. 4- $.6 range. Any more than that and you're paying too much; unless it's a rocking provider or you've developed and amazing rapport.

I think what he is trying to say is that it's more of a rule of thumb. Location, Location, Location. Northern Virginia tips are excessive when you compare the value nearby. Most are paying more because they don't want to travel to other areas.

As HighwayGuy said, welcome to the forum. I appreciate that your first report contributed to the knowledge base and wasn't a request for information.

That having been said, I agree you overpaid for the services received. A $40 tip is sufficient for standard NOVA with limited roaming. For an $80 tip I would expect BBBJCIM, something which is very rare on this side of the Potomac. We need to keep prices reasonable or else only the richest mongers will be able to afford pay to play.
