I've read through previous reports on Dayuse and have even asked some questions about it myself before, but was wondering if anyone who has used it quite a bit could provide more info.

1. Is booking through dayuse generally accurate to the hotel's system or should you always call the hotel to doublecheck?

2. Dayuse says you can cancel at anytime before the time slot range. How's your guys' experience with canceling in the middle of it in case of no shows? I'm sure it's a case by case basis depending on hotel and I imagine dayuse will require a credit card at some point if you do it too much?

Reg hotel bookings have way too late of a checkin for me (3pm usually) and it's a pain in the ass calling to see if they can check you in early.

As expected, the changes over at the other place are a hot mess and a lot of ladies are complaining about it on their social media. Some have expressed concern that it's a potential honeypot situation, like what happened with the Doggie years ago. One thing that caught my attention on the revised profile page is how they're requiring you to provide a private phone number "for internal use only in the event we need to contact you about your TNA account. " Isn't that what email is for? You essentially have to enter a phone number and some other info if you want to update your profile. Yeah, that's not going to happen. I entered the number for Lumen Field. Good luck with that clowns. LOL!

Just prior to the changeover, and probably anticipating the shit-show over the last few days, they announced that current premium providers would be receiving an additional month credit on their subscription. This was likely a bulk email hastily sent to everyone currently premium, irrespective lifetime member.

I believe they did have people test the site, probably people that suck at using the internet, and or people that were interested in gassing them up for clout (which seems to be a big thing over there).

Given their delays of over a year, what most surprises me is they spent no time beta testing.

I read through the long thread of the responses last night, and one of the admins mentioned the previous board software had become more problems than it was worth. IIRC, it was based on vbulletin and the version used was a release candidate from 2014, deprecated in 2017. The site had been hacked at least once last year and suffered random outages since.

Most people really suck dick at creating a good UI / UX experience mainly because they think giving people tons of options is the way but it really isn't when simplicity usually works best.

It's fucking bizarre to redo the entire site and not have any members beta test it. It comes off looking like something some kid made on Geocities back in 98. The color scheme is weird, the layout is wonky, the interface is garbage. They should be writing an alert on whatever web design company and webhost they hired. The ads look like crap too. It's a real head scratcher of an upgrade. Yikes.

Years of waiting and they laid a giant egg. It's definitely a prime opportunity to corner the market in the PNW with a better website if someone had the desire to do so.
