Being that said, how's the situation in Lake City? I've seen couple places looks like AMP but never tried it out.

Sorry, I meant wechat, not whatsapp. Who can keep all of these things straight these days?

With wechat you can use the discover people nearby feature. By far, the vast majority of the people on there are normal civilians and won't appreciate being bombarded with chat requests but a few are the ladies working at the local AMP's. Also wechat is likely heavily surveiled by the Chinese government, so if that troubles you then I'd skip it.
