I noticed cars there about a month ago and called, said that they were cleaning / fixing and planned to open July 1. Said to call back in June if I wanted an update but I have not buzzed them yet.

I am looking forward for them to open up next month. Hopefully I can go there next month.

I'm not very active anymore, especially with the virus, but having the second or third number is kind of fun, and very helpful. But if I get a real loser, I can have some fun with her without actually meeting her.

TextNow ads are ridiculous on my android. I rarely call, so that part isn't an issue for me. I really prefer Google voice, but normally don't use it until I text with girls on a couple of other apps first to get a feel for what I want to say and ask when I get to Google voice. Sometimes, but rarely I get the right answers from my first texts, and I end up not using voice at all for that girl.

I used to prefer textnow because both unlimited texting and calling are free. The ads are annoying, but on the web, you can just delete them. I stopped using textnow because they kept suspending my accounts.

Textfree has a limit of 10 minutes free calling. So when I get near that limit, I just close that account and create a new one.

I would prefer google voice, but they've made it harder to create a fake google account. And I avoid associating my real account with this activity.

Yes, they are just apps on my android phone. I don't do this, but you can download an app to hide the apps you don't want anyone seeing. I just lock my phone so nobody can snoop.

Any suggestions for getting a new text number, one that is challenging to trace?

Last time I created a google voice number using a burner phone, but deleted that account when I thought I was discovered. I would connect to google voice with using an incognito web browser on my cell phone, sure google still trace that number to me. Been going without action for a while, but need to find an outlet again.

Hope someone has a better and simpler method, do not want to go through all the steps to set that up again if there is an easier approach.

Appreciate any guidance provided.

I us a track fone for years. 20 bucks get me 90 days service and 120 minutes I think paid for the photo with cash, minuet card with cash. If I need more minutes I buy another card. Talk and text.
