What's the place behind Wild that you're refering to? Never heard of it or saw it.

The place is called "Secrets". It's above Club Wild, in the same building. Park behind the club and go upstairs. They advertise heavily on BP.

Club wild has been on the slide for years. The place behind them is pretty cool though. Everything is on the menu. Couldn't ask for a better get-a-way.

They are part way through renovations, and it's on the upswing. Last Friday, there were 2 particularly hot dancers (one of whom was 18).

Holy shit, I had no idea. I guess I've been confining my degenerate activities to ladies and missing out on some gambling. Thanks for setting the record straight.

On the other hand, Wednesdays at 2001, they don't charge the fee to get back into the dance area. Dances are $25 a song and there is a $5 fee for each girl you take back there on other days. On Wednesdays, they don't charge the $5 fee.

Regular nightclub-wise, you are shit out of luck on a Wednesday. The Ybor explosion of the mid-90s turned Tampa into a weekend-only party town. Too many clubs in a small area put the places that weren't in Ybor out of business and there were too many clubs in Ybor to make money for each place on a 7 day a week basis. So the Ybor clubs started to only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and then, many of them only from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Pavlovian conditioning turned Tampa into a weekend-only town for nightclubs after that.

Bottom line, outside of strip clubs and sports bars, you are not finding much going on Sunday thru Wednesday.

As for Floyds, it was only open on Friday and Saturday anyhow but it's been gone for over a year, now. A Hard Rock Cafe sits in the space it once occupied.

For one night, it's hard to imagine you'd have more fun@Mons/2001 over Ybor. Mons is way too open to do anything but enjoy the hotness of the ladies. 2001 has been good to me, but more with a lady in tow than solo. YS and I have had a productive relationship.

There are a ton of good options really, a little research here will give you all the YS info you need.

As far as nightclubs, that's tougher. On a wed Channelside will be pretty slow, International mall might have some things going on, I (speaking as a 30 something white guy) would skip Ybor City. I've had some good success@Floyd's@Hard Rock.

Will we enjoy ourselves more at the 2001 / Mons / Dale Mabry strip clubs, or instead should we stay over by the Ybor strip area? Scarletts perhaps? Any intel would be appreciated, and I'd swap a few Orlando gems for you in return if youd like.

Also, anything happening night club wise on Wed night anywhere in Tampa? We're a group of mid30s out of shape white dads from Orlando, if that helps.

One of the worst club that I have ever been to in Tampa was Wild Gentlemen's club on Hillsborough Ave. Girls are subpar and the place was so dirty that I was afraid to seat.
