Guys, I live on the First Coast and I will be down in your area soon with my wife. She has expressed a desire to visit a CLASSY club where to watch girls strip.

Classy being the keyword here. I have no clue, I wouldn't know in my hometown, even less so in Tampa / St. Pete.

I have googled it and found plenty of opinions in this regard but, as the saying goes.

Anyone cares to chime in?

I was in the area a few months ago and had the chance to stop by Chic's on North Florida Ave. It was during the daytime so the all-star line up hadn't arrived yet. There were mostly Black and Latina women working and I ended up striking up a conversation with a Cuban dancer who looked to be in her late 20's or early 30's. Roughly 115-120 lbs, flat stomach, firm body but signs of childbirth. We went through the whole rigamarole of chit chatting. Where are you from? Is this your first time here? Yada, yada, yada.

To make a long story short she eventually asked if I'd like a private dance in the VIP room and made it clear that I could expect more than just a lap dance. I assumed she was bull shitting so I took it with a grain of salt. We negotiated a price. She said a Franklin and I countered with four Jacksons. There was a charge of one Lincoln for each song. There was a little bit of dancing before she unzipped my shorts, slipped on a raincoat and started with CBJ. We'd do CG, reverse CG and K9 to completion.

I've never gone back to this place or even visited Tampa since. I'm not sure what the turnover rate is at this place but if I'm ever in the area again it's definitely on my list of places to visit.

So true and a shame. It was one of best places around many years ago.

I went in last week for the first time in many months just to see if anything has changed. I was surprised by how many people were in there. I really hate the annoying rotating spot lights they have installed. I was quickly able to tell that it was the same BS from the last time I went in. The hustle from the Cuban collection in there is the worst. If they rub on your junk to make you think you'll have fun in the back, don't go, that rubbing will be the most action you'll get unless you have more money than you know what to do with.

I saw Destiny. She used to dance, but just gives massages now. We go way back so I would've asked her if there was anything good going on in there, but she was with some people and I didn't want to stick around. Drank my beer & left. I'll go back in another 6 months hoping something changes.

I used to live in that area about 20 years ago when the building where Emperors is now was a good club, may have been called Diamonds at the time? I was only in the area that night for another reason and stopped in to watch some of the Lightning playoff game and check the scenery Now that is is big disappointment, the Lightning The point I was making is that I found it comical how disinterested the group of ladies that were there at the time were. I also wondered if anyone had any info oor experience with Paola? She was hot enough that I woild check her out more sometime. I like to find new variety myself so I'm sure I'll be back. There's a contingent of Cubans in Pinellas and most claim to live in Tampa or Brandon. I usually like to stop in to Scarletts after a few drinks at Gold Club but I know that it's usually hit or miss. I've seen some of the ladies I know there at Scarletts occasionally. I find that most all clubs are hit or miss which is why I usually stop in at least 2 sometimes 3 when I am out. I find the entire area great for exploring. All it takes is the time and $.

I am going to agree with this. I drive through Tampa these days just to get to Pinellas and Pasco. The mileage is much higher at the clubs and way easier to find. The Tampa clubs have gotten expensive, especially at night.

Wrongo! IMHO, that's absolutely horrible advice. First of all, what he described at Gold is commonplace there but it also often happens at other clubs, INCLUDING Deja Vu. Deja Vu can be okay if you go at the right time, but not always and it can be comparatively pricey to get anything even when its at it's best. Admittedly, apathetic dancers also can be found at clubs in Pinellas, but there are many places where it's less common or where you don't have to lay down a lot of green to get their attention.

But, more to the point, the dude lives over in Pinellas and I'm guessing knows the lay of the land over there pretty well. So, why on earth should he schlep over here to get a lackluster experience at Gold or a pricey one at Deja Vu or even chancing anywhere else over here when there are so many better values for the money in his own neck of the woods?

I'm speaking from over 20 years experience regularly visiting more clubs than I can count in both counties as well as Pasco. I've taken dancers out of numerous clubs, had more than one end up living with me and also done my share of VIP rooms (although I try to avoid that in favor of take-out, which is a much better value). And, even though I live in Hillsborough, I've had much better luck outside this county to the point that I usually prefer driving all the way over to where he lives over often wasting my time (and / or money) in the clubs over here. If I lived where he does I'd never bother at all coming over here.

To all you Tampa Boys who are loyal to your hometown clubs and dancers, I can appreciate where you're coming from and not wanting to venture further afield than you have to. But, I'd just say to you, try to keep a more open mind. What's good for the goose is not always good for the gander.

I've said this before, why hang around at a club where the workers are not working? If I go in a place and the girls are not cute and looking for my money, I'm going quickly. I've never had to argue with a doorman about my choice to leave. I have limited time for fun. I don't waste my time on reindeer games.

Only one of them stopped by to say hello and ask if I wanted to dance. I tipped Paola pretty well on stage and she didn't even come by to say hello. She asked me if I wanted a dance while she was on stage when I tipped her and I said perhaps and then she went o sit and play with her phone.

There were hardly any other guys there and the ladies just sat chatting among themselves. Oh well waste of a cover charge. Glad I live in Pinellas.

We no longer have a newspaper or TV news that report real news in this town so we are left to report on our own. See the full report on my thread. SHOW GIRLS CLUB Plant City before midnight, Thursday March 21st. So somebody at HCSO dug up this rule from 9-12-2006. So why now? Also, where will they raid next? I was just there Saturday night to grab a drink, the girls that were there were not the best lookin, but I somehow ended up spending 300 that night though, with nothing to show for it.
