Buddy of mine was at Rachels and he heard some of the ladies saying a bartender was sent home because of covid symptoms. I think I am going to refrain from hitting the clubs for awhile. Be safe guys, this is getting real now here.

BTW drink prices there are more reasonable also compared to Orlando clubs, $6. 50 and $8. 00 respectively vs $11.00 here.
Will try the Lido club next time which Vino recommends.
Also, not to stray too far from the discussion about clubs, on my way there had some awesome shrimp and fish dinner at Molly's Seafood Shack on Merritt Island to fill my belly before drinking. Definitely recommend also.

Posts: 2000The end of a legend.
I was bored last night and decided to go to Cocoa Beach for some entertainment. I am worried that the COVID is spiking and we may end up getting shut down again. My visit to one legendary strip club reads like my favorite Clint Eastwood movie.
The Good:
I went to where the Inner Room used to be. It's name has now been changed to Dancers Royale. The outside looked about the same. They just changed the sign. The inside has been totally remodeled. I must say that it is absolutely gorgeous inside. The place got a complete makeover. They have private dance areas where you go into a booth and close a curtain. They also have the traditional couch too but they're brand-new. The place is also a non-smoking bar. They have an outside area to smoke that is enclosed by a wooden privacy fence. It appeared as if this might be the place to be since the dancers continuously went back and forth there.
The Bad:
It was very slow for a Saturday night. There were only about a dozen dancers and they were nothing to brag home about. I also noticed that none of them approached us at all. They all seemed to have their noses stuck up in the air with a snob mentality.
The Ugly:
I asked the girl at the door, a bouncer, the bartender, and the person that answered the phone when I called, how much are dances now? Not one single person would tell me a price. They all said you had to ask the girl, so I did. I went up to tip a very mediocre blond on the stage and asked her how much were dances. I shit you not, she looked at me the way someone looks at a cockroach when the lights turn on. In her best "if you have to ask," voice, she told me they were 25 bucs! I told her, "no wonder you're so slow on a Saturday night. ".
IDK what you get in the private booth or if take out is available or not. I do know that your wallet will take a beating for you to find out. Gone is the dive-bar Inner Room, with its 30-40 sleazy girls vying for your 10 dollar full lap dances where just about anything goes. It's now just a fond memory. It was a sad night at the beach. No wonder Lido's was packed and had a ton of beautiful girls. Their dances are 20 bucs.
One good thing that was happening at all the Cocoa bars was no social distancing. The bar itself was packed, although all employees wore masks, except for the dancers. You also got the traditional Lido's style lap dances, with the grinding and closeness.

Decided to see for myself the local strip club scene while being in the OBT area one night last week. Have read many reports on the Orlando scene so kinda knew what to expect.
First stop was Stars. Admission was $5. Many dancers, few patrons. Good mix of girls, (younger, older, races, body types) from what I saw not great on the dance skills, ok on effort. Not too many dollar bills being thrown at the dancers. One dancer did seem completely topless, which I did not expect. Maybe nipples were super disguised? Drink service (which was spotty) is only at a table, and that went for $11 a shot. Don't know what they'd charge for just a beer. Several dancers came by and offered lap dances which went for $20. Partook of a dance from one dancer who caught my eye while on the stage. Hard to call it a lap dance with the dancer what seems like feet apart from you. Chatted with her afterwards, says she comes up from Miami to do her thing up here. Probably clubs are closed there. After a while decided it was time to leave the club and test the waters elsewhere.
Next visit was to Thee Dollhouse across the street. Cover there was $15. Pretty much the same scene, although here most of the dancers seemed to be latina, quite a few on the plump side and somewhat older. Personally didn't like the set up of the club which seems smaller, poles are lower. Don't see how they can do much acrobatics on those. Again, nothing impressed me with the dancers as far as skills were concerned. Dancers I saw on stage kinda seemed like they were just going through the motions. Table service was much better, shot going also for $11.
Was not approached all the time I was there until I was ready to leave, and this was by an older looking dancer who was definitely not my type. Decided it was time to skip. To me, Stars was definitely a better spot.
Thought about checking out the Palace next but called it a night instead. Didn't figure I'd get better mileage from my pennies there. Maybe I'm wrong?
Next time I'll head out to Cocoa Beach to check out the scene there.

With this phase starting. Bars and nightclubs can open at 50%. Sounds like some establishments can open back up now.

Posts: 972They could also just have you sign a waiver. I've done that before for a champagne room before? Just a thought.

Anyone that thinks that they'll be getting lap dances in Cocoa or Tampa after this COVID BS ends, is kidding themselves. I seriously doubt you will ever be able to get the IR special dances again. That's if they even allow the topless bars to re-open at all. My. 02.
