Dropped by tonight around 6:30 and the door was locked. The only sign, the one with the hours, said they were open at 5 on Tuesdays, but no go.

They changed their hours, but didn't update the sign. They open at 7, but often times dancers don't show up until closer to 8.

Was in vicinity of Escape thus took a plunge to gauge the waters. No admission fees, which is definitely good. Drinks are priced normal and lot of girls to touch see and talk while you sip on your poison! Did see a VIP area too, didn't partake in much of shenanigans and was out and about after one drink and tipping 2 dancers onstage.

I haven't been here in a while. I got tired of the girls here quick. They would spend more time begging for tips on the bar than dancing. Girls on the Block did more dancing than the girls at Excape which is sad.

There is a VIP area but bouncers keep a hard keen eye on any shananagans. No extras in the VIP but last time I was there, takeout can be had.

Was hanging out on the block tonight and hopped around. I can only speak about the clubs that have at least some girls working, but around midnight most of them were packed. A lot of girls and a lot of customers. Last week it was slim pickings for the girls, but tonight there were enough customers that it was almost like open season on us.

Best looking girls. As usual probably the Pussycat (but not my favorite club).

Most girls. Red Room.

Didn't make it to the Circus but I suspect it was the usual assortment of down and out druggies there.

I don't think that anywhere in the country sex itself is illegal (LOL). On the other hand, if sex also involves money (or something else of value like a $200 bottle of VIP champagne) then in most places it is illegal (Except in Clark county, NV). What you can get away with is another story. On the block, in most clubs, for the right amount of money (and with the right attitude) you can get away with a lot. Just buy a girl a drink (only $25. What a bargain) and ask. She'll tell you about how that bar works, what the bar charges for how much time, and what you should tip her for what you want. Be explicit when you say what you want. ("I want to have a good time" has a different meaning than "I want a BJ".

I personally want to take a girl to my hotel which is possible with some girls in some of the bars if you are discreet and the bartenders don't find out. That can save me some money while giving her more money. It's risky for the girls so not all will go for it and usually they have to know you a bit first. That's where attitude counts for a whole lot.

I've been to Strip Clubs in many cities, but have never been to the Block and I don't live in Baltimore but may make a road trip to check it out from VA.

#1 - What is the deal with parking? I presume I have to park somewhere else and walk to the "Block". Where would be recommended? Or perhaps even a train ride from the VA / DC area if there is a station right there.

Are there cabs roaming that area to get in / out of the region?

#2 - I'm really interested in some good stage shows I can sit and watch for quite a while with a buddy or two. Probably some lap dances but definitely a no go for private rooms or "max" extras.

Recommendations? Was thinking perhaps the Hustler Club, but again I'm really have no idea.

Note: I'm a middle aged white dude, so Prefer one of the clubs where I would feel moderately safe, but I do realize it is the block.

Just for reference, "The Block" is the 400 block of East Baltimore Street plus a couple of clubs slightly to the south. Perhaps there are 15 strip bars (and one regular bar) in this very small space. This is on the edge of what you might call downtown Baltimore.

#1 - I park on the street very near the block. Depending on the time of day, there may be plenty of parking or it may be limited. Much of the area has nearby parking pay stations where you pay for your parking and then put the receipt on your dashboard. I think it comes to $2/ hour; I pay with a stack of quarters but I think the machines also take credit cards. Pay attention to the allowable parking hours so you don't get towed.

#2 - I'm too cheap to frequently pay for the Hustler Club so I seldom go, but, there are many clubs in the area that are free of a cover charge. They all have stage shows. The word "good" is subjective. Most of girls on stage are drug addicted and do not look good when naked. But, there are some that look very good.

My recommendation would be to park nearby and then just walk into and out of each bar until you've been inside every one. It will take about 10 seconds per bar for you to know if you want to stay. Some will have many girls, some will have very few. Then, go back to the bar that suits your taste. If you don't like anything, you might then want to pay the cover at Hustler. Just because somebody has a good experience at a particular club on Wednesday doesn't mean the same girls will be there on Thursday or that you will have a nice time when you try it.
