I figured, just the times and area we live in I guess. Years ago, I hated my job in Atlanta; however, the SC scene was miles better than anywhere else in the USA Eventually, I'd love to check out Hong Kong Club in Tijuana, but that'll have to be for a later vacation.

As for here in MD, I honestly had no problem helping Ruby out on that slow night. She's a real chill, cool, down-to-earth chick who keeps it real, great listener, and has very interesting stories to tell (and a jaw dropping body to boot!

The clubs in the Block offer FS service (except for Hustler's) and The Player's Club I think, but it's YMMV.

After living near Atlanta, GA, for years, the strip club scene here in the DMV just seems like a rip-off. Especially when compared to the awesomeness that is Follies. Still earlier this month, I was having a long, somewhat depressing day with friends and decided to ditch them after dinner to check out the Penthouse Club.

Formerly known as Scores, not much has changed since my last visit there back in 2015 except the name switch to the well-known strip club chain brand. Negatives still include: mandatory hat check, over-priced drinks ($8-10 per beer), obligatory tipping of dancers if you opt to sit at the bar (usually $2 every 10 minutes? $160 price tag for a four-song VIP session with the dancer of your choosing (only top comes off. Full nudity is just for the stage), etc. Some positives: their music selection is pretty varied (compared to most clubs' are&B tracklist on infinite fucking repeat), so that's a subtle touch that I appreciated. The bartenders that night were pretty badass and not at all pushy about drink orders so long as you at least get something when you sit down (can't just hog the seat and NOT get anything). The dancers themselves were anywhere between 6 - 8 in the looks department and their dancing / pole skills weren't anything too special except the red-head who's name I forget who shimmied all the way up to the second-landing on the main center stage and twirled / slid all the way down. Got to say that was pretty impressive and worth the extra tip. Bathrooms were immaculate and the club appearance was well-kept & designed with comfortable seats and nice TVs all over the place. I hear the food is pretty good. But I just can't bring myself to eating food prepared at a strip club. Weird, I know, but that's just me.

Apart from that slick move, almost no one else caught my eye and I was preparing to leave after about an hour and a half (with only one dancer approaching me who wasn't my type). Then I saw this one Asian dancer walking back and forth talking to bouncers and not really hitting up any of the other customers (admittedly, it was pretty dead until around 11 pm when more folks started streaming in). She's not bony, but also not skinny. Maybe "athletic-built" is the best description? We made eye-contact and she came over. She's a Korean-American named "Ruby" and was really chill & down-to-earth to talk to. We drank a couple shots before she was called to perform her dance routine. After 15 minutes, she came right back and we talked for quite a bit as I continued to down beers before taking her up on a VIP offer. There's limits to what can be done back there, so as long as you keep your hands from wandering inside a dancer's pants then everything will be just fine. Like I said, the top came off but bottoms stayed on. She was very fair about not starting midway through a song, which is not always guaranteed among the other dancers. Afterwards, we drank another shot and talked for another hour or so before I got her number then called it a night.

I definitely wasn't expecting much from Penthouse Club that night, but I'm really glad I went that day and had an overall fantastic time. It was awesome being able to just unwind with Ruby, who wasn't pushy or fake or impatient at any moment that night. Just a really awesome listener who was jaw-droppingly gorgeous (most Asian dancers are, in my opinion) and I hope to run into her again.

After taking a trip through the loops I stopped at the Block to check things out. I poked my head into Chez Joeys, Jewel Box, another I forgot the name to and finally Harem. Unfortunately the 2 ladies I were interested in were engaged with some of the other gentlemen. One was Skittles (Nothing turns up in the search) tall, thin, white, and dyed red hair. The other petite, blond, spinner type with a little ass and a pair of glasses. She looks like Kat Timpf on Fox news I never got her name. If anyone has had the pleasure please let me know, I definitely intend to find out for myself soon.
