The only thing to look out for are the scam listing. Most of the massage places listed have websites and ads somewhere else. Scammers will put up legit massage places on RM and put their own phone number and try to make you put up a deposit for services in advance.

Just make sure phone numbers match their website or ads elsewhere.

If you like AMPs it is definitely worth it. It also has other massage places like the Latina place in Greenbelt and the Russian place in Bethesda, but no surprise the majority are Asian. It has almost every massage place around including many if not most of the "non-erotic"/ no fun ones. It saves you from going to a place and not getting a release. About the only AMPs missing are new ones, but they get added fairly quickly. It has good information about the provider and services available. It also has reviews on places not covered here much like Seven Spa and Emerald in Temple Hills and Pandora Spa in College Park to mention a few. The forum abbreviation guide for prices is as follows:

These abbreviations are awkward and often improperly used. It's even worse since the forum's auto correct puts a space after the "." where it isn't intended. Per the abbreviation guide, Sixth Man paid $160 to the house plus $20 tip while Kris106 paid $60 to the house plus $40 tip. I suspect Sixth Man actually paid $60 to the house plus $20 tip.

The $ or $$ or $$.5 is just an abbreviation, it isn't any kind of magical code that only mongers can understand. IMHO, it's better to just write the amounts paid in normal notation. The abbreviations don't make it easier for anybody.

I totally agree. The forum abbreviation guide is available to anybody, so the abbreviations really serve no real purpose. If you paid $60 to house and tipped $140, just say that and let's drop the silly abbreviations.
