For protection, I personally implement the following after an ad maker asks for a deposit:

1. Ask them to verify their pictures (which are usually ALWAYS of a hot girl) by sending me a selfie of themselves giving the peace sign.

Usually, the conversation ends there because the pics are fake. But I have seen on osscaion the girl in the pics IS REAL, and actually sends a selfie. HOWEVER. Take a look at the background. Does it look like a hotel room they claim to be in? Is it obviously an apartment somewhere?

2. If it seems like it COULD be a hotel room, ask them to take an additional picture of themselves in the lobby AT THE HOTEL THEY CLAIM TO BE AT.

I shit you not, not ONE person who has EVER asked for an upfront donation has EVER been able to do this. Because, the girl in the pics, if real, in part of the scam, and is NOT at the hotel..

Consider this, even if the provider is real, she can still rip you off and not honor the deposit.

It's happened many times, so people shouldn't even consider a deposit, whether the provider's real or not, it can be a scam. The world is very dishonest.

What I've found with the expensive girls is always google the name and the number and look for reviews. Googling the 929 numbers leads to ads of her and of other girls as well and a review from TER stating that it's a service and they send other girls.
