VIP room type options go up to $1500 an hour. The $20 LD's are a good deal and cheaper than elsewhere in the country and the babes are hotter. Great club.

Hot Lapdance Club. This place is something else. It is a floating party with an erotic show. There is a membership fee (10$) and admission fee ($50) and you must buy at least one lapdance for $20. Beautiful girls, erotic shows, good times.

the name of the pizza joint is Cordato's, its right next to the Pussycat lounge on greenwich st. It's been around for many years, used to have the girls completely naked but now they wear clothes. Total dump. Just pay the girl $20 to touch her up and have her dance next to you. Its not too crowded Monday to Wednesday but Thursday and Friday its too packed and with only 2 or 3 girls working and a ton of guys, its not what I would call fun.

The place is a 24-hour bakery/pizza joint, but there was a back door. Upon entering the back door, we were in this dark room with a bar on the left. I went to Lace 1 a few weeks ago with my friend after a Friday night of drinking (his idea, not mine). Admission/coat check was $23. Bought 2 Coronas for $25. The girls there were just okay, probably a 7 or 8 with my beer goggles on. Seemed like every 2 minutes, one of the girls would come up and ask for a dance. I was pissed drunk, but not drunk enough to loose my mind or my money. I respectfully declined each one, since I don't consider dances to be worth $20. We got out of there after finishing our Corona. I didn't leave a tip for the coat check lady. Man, I'm a cheap bastard.

Goldstein was really a visionary. When he 1st came out with SCREW it was sold at the colleges (and elsewhere of course). He had a cartoon in it showing a guy eating out a woman (it had a lot of slurp, slurp words, the cartoon woman and guy were dressed and didn’t it show much - it was just a cartoon) and the DA in Suffolk County confiscated all the issues as being obscene (a cartoon!). So in the next issue, Goldstein had, full size, on the front page, just a series of numbered dots that when connected became the cartoon that was confiscated and instructions to connect the dots and mail the picture to the DA (gave the address, etc).

Everyone did it.

It was the last time the paper was confiscated.

I came up to Lace 2 just after noon today and found out from the uniformed doorman that admission was $5 and coatcheck $3. I went in and gave the coatroom girl my jacket and $8. Happened to find myself near Scores-West, located on the West side of Manhattan, in the upper 20s (sorry I cannot remember the exact address), and figured what the hell, I'll have a look. Cover charge was $30, then a few dollars more to the coat check girl. Drinks were very expensive. The place is clean, as is the bathroom. Numerous suited security guards and one super-security guy who was over 7' tall and probably weighed upwards of 400 lbs. Keep your asses in line. There was a massage girl ($20 for two songs, w/ oil). Her service was average. On the plus side, the lap dances were really that - full contact, not an air dance. On the down side, they were conducted out in the open.

This very high pricing and glitz was no surprise - pretty much par for the course for anything in Manhattan, but what did surprise me was the mediocre quality of the dancers. No better, in fact worse, than any decent SC. Almost all the broads were bottle blonds; only one girl really stood out as gorgeous. I had expected that for all the over-priced shit, at least the over-priced girls would be lookers. As they weren't, I wouldn't recommend pissing your money away here.

After visiting my regular provider I stopped in at Show World to check out the live show, Inside I saw a sign stating that Show World has not had live girls since 1998. I asked the attendant and he reiterated "no live girls." Looks like Screw is way out of date with their listing for Show World. At least it correctly steered me to the live peeps at Playpen and Empire Erotica,

I "discovered" Times Square in the mid 80s, and really started hanging out there weekly when I had a real job in the late 80s. So basically, I caught the trailing end of when things were really great.(I wish I had a time machine).

As for the Play Pen, the following is something I wrote in a different thread:
