Good experiences at Flashdancers (1674 Broadway), I've started frequenting it on a regular basis. It's a good strip club with good lap dances.

Frankly it's better than all these underground / private parties happening around NYC. For a single $20 lap dance most girls will allow playing with boobs, although not all, so there's no need to pay $60/ dance + $40 cover and be in an arrogant social scene with young posers. 50%-70% of girls allow excellent touching, but unfortunately some will refuse. What I really like is you can cut your losses early and just leave after a single dance if you don't "click". $20 will be wasted but it's better than being locked into a long $60 dance for 3 songs where you can't bail out, which I've had happen at the more expensive private parties. The right strategy is to find the right girls who allow the most contact and invest in multiple dances with them, like 3-4, which would be money well spent ($60-80) despite some occasional "bad apples" where you would lose a $20, but that's not a big loss.

I also like that Flashdancers is open in the daytime (even at 2 pm!) so no need for tiresome and stressful late nights in Manhattan. Staff is cordial and polite, the clientele is also good.

I'm a bit puzzled by some of the commentary I've read portraying NYC's regular strip clubs as lame and low-mileage. Honestly I feel like NYC is even more liberal than Vegas, although it's not quite Canada.

I was recently in NYC and tried to make the most of it. I was staying near Times Square, so on my day off I walked to a couple of the local establishments. I'm not a local, but I understand the scene is largely cleaned up from the old days. It's nice to see a little grit still remaining though. I'm referring to the adult businesses close together on 8th street. Satin Doll and a few adult stores with live girls / peep shows.

First I tried the adult stores. This was at around noon on a Saturday. There's two of them there, The Playpen and Show World Center. One has the peepshows upstairs, the other in a downstairs area. I don't remember which, but the place with the downstairs area didn't have girls in yet. So I tried the one with the upstairs area. This place looked old as shit. However, I curiously checked up upstairs and saw two girls in lingerie sitting outside the booths. One was an okay looking white girl, the other a hot latina.

From what I observed she was very air-dancey and didn't allow contact going either way. After some time passed I was approached by a 7-ish Brazilian dancer. A little older with blonde hair, medium sized implants and decent figure overall. She seemed friendly and I bought a round of drinks. Tried a lapdance with her and she was good. When I recently found out I'd be laid over on my trip between 1 and 3 am on a Friday, I was pretty chuffed. The last time I was around, there would have been several peeps going (at least one with extras) and decent if pricey strip clubs.

Now it looks pretty sparse. I'm not even sure Playpen / Gotham Video is still open or still has peeps; still reeling from the news that Show World closes. At 8 pm. Flashdancers isn't far, nor is Satin Dolls, but what I'm reading leads me to believe they'd be a little fun for far more money than I could spend in other cities I visit regularly.

I'm down for clubs, peeps, MPs, underground back rooms. Anything that would be a good time and hard to find elsewhere. Please share if you know of one and commiserate if they're all gone.

I went to the Lido Room about a month ago, and I wanted to give a brief report.

I arrived around 9 PM at night on a Friday. The venue was in midtown, with a bar and seating area out front, and lapdance area in the back. I posted up at the bar and ordered a drink, then was approached by a hot white girl. After chatting with her, took her to get some dances for $20 each. She allowed DFK and feeding, but nothing below the belt. She also refused to stick-shift, although she provided a great grind with her legs and butt.

I took a break after 10 dances and went to the restroom, then came out and scoped things out. It was much more packed now, with surprisingly, most girls walking around were not attractive. So from my visits to these events, most of the girls are amateur girls, with no strip club experience. They are mostly natural tits but you do have one or two girls who have had their tits done. The latinas for the most part have nice asses and aren't fake. This is just from my experience going on Wednesdays and Thursdays and the girls do vary from day and even from site of the event. I did get info that the other upstairs events that takes place on Rosewood Theater, their VIP rooms go 500 for half and 1 k for an hour but, some of these girls will do more than must the lap dances. That is what I was told from 2 of the girls that are my regulars. I have talked to 3 girls that I have become friends with and even one of them came to my place the other night, and have hung out on occasion outside of Rosewood and some of these girls are down to go to a hotel room or your own apt to dance there for 200 flat for 3 hours. They rather do that then pay the house 80-120,40 to the house lady who does their make and I believe it was 20 for the bartender.

I've also gone to all 3 of these events, but had a different experience from you at all 3 places. CLV is a quiet smaller venue, the times I went there I really didn't find any attractive girls to my liking, I'm the type of guy who like a thick girl with some assets on her. DHT: Club like atmosphere, lots of girls but, looks werent as good as the other two. No entrance fee, which was a huge bonus, drinks were somewhat expensive. Spanish girl was hot but the dance was kind of mediocre, nothing to right home about, same thing with the italian girl. German chick was a good lap dance to start the night off, the blonde chick was fantastic and had the best chest of all the girls there, and the brunette alternative chick was a complete freak and was a lot of fun.

Lido part 2: Went back to Lido for one of their club nights, the venue is gigantic, and the amount of girls there is startling, as well as how ridiculously hot they are. That being said, get there early because the amount of guys that show up definitely does go up. I got dances from two different girls, first one was a perfect 10 ecuadorian girl with some very nice c to d cup chest, full make out, very rough and attentive dance, lots of dirty talk, incredible skills. The second one was with a shorter, red head, girl next door, kind of look to her, incerdibly charming, and her dance was an 11/10, probably one of the best dances I've ever gotten.

Overall I feel like Lido is worth the higher entrance fee, and is probably the best of the three. I'm still looking for an underground type party that has better mileage but so far of those three, those were my experiences.
