Posts: 1287Request for new Special Interest Topic. Sugarbabies
The Richmond VA Sugarbabies thread has tons of great contributors and equally great content, but it is such a vast hobby topic with so many recurring sub-topics that end up being discussed, that I believe I'm not alone in the idea that it would benefit greatly from it's own topic, not to mention the fact that I don't think the majority of the regulars to that thread are even local to the Richmond VA area. A number of other smaller Sugarbaby threads have cropped up in other city areas, which only takes the current problem of no way to organize the contents of a huge monolithic thread, but threatens to have lots of these popping up in various cities (because so many members do not stray outside their state). Since many Sugardaddies are the traveling types, geography is rarely a consideration.

Posts: 31I don't mean to beat a dead horse if that is the case, I did see where this has been brought up in the past but I really think it would be great and beneficial to have a forum where the providers who are members (advertisers) could have there own general reports or member discussion! I find myself having lots of things I wish I could express to the guys that I feel would help make both of our experience better when meeting! Just saying.

There may be one on here, but unfortunately I have not seen it. Everyone has seen folks new to USASG asking about intel that may be sensitive, information on well know providers that is easily found in the forums, listing a laundry list of links to Craigslist and BP and other ads saying "Hey! Are any of these good?" resulting in being flamed on to one degree or another. For the most part I do not think that Newbies (we have all been there) are being silly but USASG is a Candy Store when first found. Had that impression myself. I think it would be helpful to have a forum in which various topics of how to search a provider's ad here and on other places. Things like how to perform a basic image source, why and how to search phone numbers, TGTBT pictures in ads and several more. "Dude, go to "this link" and you can get tips for this and a lot of other providers. If you don't, then list what you did, results if any, and someone may be able to help". Below are some pictures that could be in the TGTBT section I think.

I think it would be a great idea to have a taunton / raynham or even south coast. Boston is still about an hour or so from south coast.

Would it be possible to get a thread for Fredericksburg Virginia under the Northern Virginia Thread? While it's in the NoVa area, it's far enough away to need it's own thread for those of us that live in the area and don't travel near the beltway. Thanks!

Not knowing where else to post this I'll propose a new topic. Has anyone had any experience with hotel staff who volunteered services?

Hey Jackson,
I am wondering if you would add a topic for women who are into the hobby. It would be nice to see what women have to say about their dreams with either women or male providers. I know you understand why I would like to have this topic since you read my posts. I am in the Memphis forums if you need to reread them.
Thanks for the consideration.

Hey, Jackson,
Great work. Keep it up.
How about a story thread? I am sure there are those of us who have a talent for telling a good story and those of us interested in reading. I would personally like to put some stories on here.

Posts: 73Craigslist Macro-forum: outlived its usefulness?
Considering that the Craigslist 'macro-forum' is pretty much moribund with regard to hobbyist interests (except for a few "therapeutic massage ads"), and most cities/areas have both a Craigslist and Backpage subforum, can we look to eliminate this macro-forum? I didn't check every sub-forum under Craigslists but it appears the few I've checked have not seen any real action in over a year.
On the other hand, in some state forums (OK, Illinois, I haven't checked elsewhere), anything of interest still winds up on the Craigslist or BP sub-forums under that state's location sub-forums. To find news about these types of ads, I look at "States-Illinois-[City]-BP Reviews" (or occasionally "[City]-CL Reviews" if something new shows up there). "Craigslist-Illinois" hasn't had any new posts since 2010.
Post-edit joking comment: I'll refrain from posting another suggestion under "Site Improvements" that the user have the option (reversible by Jackson) to turn off the autocorrection/autoformatter; I lost the 'greater than' signs I used to separate the forum hierarchies above and replaced them with hyphens. I'm certain the autocorrections do more good than harm overall and I'll have to get used to them; I just never noticed them before I had immediate posting rights.Last edited by Garbonzo; 11-22-11 at 11:00. Reason: Insert replacement symbols removed by autoformatter

Posts: 73Universal Topic: the discreet communications issue
Two suggestions, so I'll break it into two posts.
A topic came up in a Chicago thread and I'm sure it's of interest to many hobbyists nationwide. What's the best Batphone for the hobby?
E.g., what are the pros / cons of each of these:
1. A disposable tracfone.
2. Spare pay-as-you-go SIM that you pop in / out of your regular phone.
3. Skype.
4. Google Voice.
Etc.
This led me to realize that I'm sure this conversation has happened elsewhere in many other regional forums. Also, I wish I had seen some of these suggestions a year or two ago.
So might I suggest opening a new forum under "Special Interests" called "Discreet Hobbying"? It would have subforums like "phone advice","email access","physical issues" (e.g., scents, keeping possessions safe, bare minimum to bring), etc, all with an eye toward allowing those of us with a secret life to keep it secret?
Perhaps there would be enough of a call to make it a new "macro-forum" like "Craigslist Reviews" or "Special Interests", considering that it applies to a large percentage of hobbyists regardless of location or interests.Last edited by Garbonzo; 11-22-11 at 10:55. Reason: Fix automated reformatting

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I notice when you click on someones username it now only shows the total number of post the member has. It no longer shows the date the member joined USASG. I think it is good to see that date because it help decide if you want to give out info via pm to that member. Hope you put it back Thanks.
