WOW, I hope someone has some information on Elle. Also hoping she is still in town on the 17th when I fly in. I will definitly TOFTT on that one.

Police nab six in prostitution sweep

North Charleston police rounded up six women this week in a citywide prostitution sweep stemming from citizen complaints, authorities said.

Members of the Selective Police Enforcement to Enhance and Deter (SPEED) team arrested the women after they solicited an undercover officer, offering sex in return for money, said Spencer Pryor, police public information officer.

One woman, 40-year-old Tammy Stiles of North Charleston, was charged for the 11th time with soliciting for prostitution, making the offense a felony, Pryor said. Five other women face misdemeanor solicitation charges. One also faces a drug paraphernalia charge, and another was charged with trespassing, he said.

Police generally target specific neighborhoods with the sweeps, but this time cast a wider net due to complaints from around the city, Pryor said. The arrests occurred on Remount Road, Stall Road, St. Johns Avenue and Garrett, Read, Cody and Liederman streets, police said.

In addition to the prostitution arrests, police arrested a seventh woman for driving under suspension.

Do any of you old timers remember these two fine establishments from back in the early seventies? Some of my best Navy memories are from the girls at those two spots. Tiffany was my favorite but they were all good. To bad there are no places like that now.
