Finally, out of the darkness an understanding voice . It's not just about me or the girl, it's not just about the pictures - it's a process.

No problem. Take what you need & do with it as you will. In a lot of ways, I'm probably echoing some things you've said piecemeal over the years in response to different questions. Yeah, I actually read the posts & didn't (only) save the photos! LOL!

Of course, I also found that the things you told guys (maybe when they wanted to know exactly where you scooped some girl) were spot-on true. Doesn't matter I'm in a different city.

That day I'm talking about, seeing 15 girls, I was really waiting on a call back for a date with my regular. So I pulled up to a nearby stroll, cause I didn't want to wait right outside her place & have her feeling like I was stalking her. I had a bunch of car cleaning stuff on hand, you know to wipe down the interior, seats & windows. I figured while I'm waiting I can clean my car, see if I see anything interesting, and if any cop or neighborhood watch wants to bother me then what can they say? Is it a crime to clean my car?

I saw more chicks out then I've ever seen driving down the stroll! Granted, I was there for a few hours (I took my time and thoroughly cleaned everything). I had women walking up to me asking if I wanted a date. Probably turned down 7 or 8 of them, and had another 3 or 4 walk by & give me The Stare to let me know they were available. Wound up talking with a couple girls who were bummed that the few guys driving through that time of day looked by never stopped. Bought them a soda & a bag of chips each, and felt like I'd made friends for life! And told them straight up, "I'm sorry. I would, but I'm waiting for my regular to hit me back. ".

Ironically, I had some car trouble when trying to leave, and one of those girls flagged down one of her regulars, who bailed me out. I couldn't let a good deed go unrewarded, and my regular didn't get back to me that day, so the lovely Jordan & I spent some mutually beneficial time together. I think that's a lady who could seriously wow some guys if she had a fine photographer to do a photo shoot. (Oh yeah. . . "Jordan_7" in the linked report is how she was looking the day I met her cleaning my car. A truly beautiful woman!)

So yeah, I don't know you & can't say I know exactly where you're coming from. . . But I think I understand. If I said anything in a way you can re-use to good effect later, knock yourself out!

Have you gone too far? That's a tough call. . .
I bet the girls you photograph are pleasantly surprised with the end result, assuming you catch up with them to show them the final product. I would expect that once they know how well they look in the end, word could get around to the other girls making either repeat photo sessions or new models (or new pairings) easier to set up. I have no doubt this forms a part of your street cred that you've developed over time with these ladies.
Does it make them harder to spot for other mongers? Yeah, probably. But after watching your work over time I haven't gotten the sense that you're making a documentary, or just trying to show "gritty reality" (though that came up at least a few times with $10-spot photo locations). Instead, I have the impression you have an overall positive attitude towards women in general, and because of that you want to show these girls in the best possible light to highlight their strengths. I know I have a regular who probably looks somewhat rough on the street, but cleans up incredibly well and my mind doesn't let me see the few flaws here & there.
What's more, great makeup, outfits, locations, and lighting all cater to your desire to make excellent photographs. Unless you have a degradation fetish to feed (by way of those "raw reality" type shoots), it's natural for you to compare your work to other photographers who take advantage of every aspect of the image to create great-looking work. So I see where there's a personal need you're fulfilling by helping your models look as good as they possibly can. Besides, no way someone would keep up the body of work you have for over 10 years without feeding their own need with it somehow.
I don't live in Philly, but I'm probably within range to make a visit sometime. But I'm not a guy you'd be helping find a particular girl on a particular stroll. Even in my own town, with other mongers who've posted pics of girls, the cheap & dirty ones taken with a cell phone are most useful for putting a name to a face. But they don't really help you find the girl.
The guy tells you where he saw her, maybe what time of day or what she was wearing. But clothes change, times the girl needs to be out to get her meds changes, maybe her stroll changes as her living situation moves around. Nothing seems to help finding the girl on the street except being out on the street. (Maybe 2 months ago, I told guys my exact location & time of day when I saw at least 15 different girls within a 3-4 block stretch. Girls were coming out of the woodwork! And others kept posting how that same stretch was dead, before, during, and after the day I was out there. Which just proves you gotta be on the street to find the girls on the street.)
My opinion is the most valuable photos for identifying a girl on the street are the ones that show which girls to avoid at all costs!
I think your goals with your photos, and perhaps your own personal needs from them, are best served with the way you're doing the pics now. Let another monger step up to get the quick & dirty street version for drive-by I'd. You have plenty of fans (whether you know it or not) who appreciate the way you elevate these ladies in your work.

I thought about doing that, but decided against it. That is something I could have always done. In fact, it's something I've done to a certain extent. In the past, I would begin each photo session photographing the girl in her clothing, removing one article of clothing at a time. I would explain to the girl that the reason for the fully clothed pictures was so that guys would be able to recognize them walking by. No one was going to recognize her from a naked picture, unless she walked the streets naked. However, even in these fully clothed photos I would encourage the girl to remove her hoodie, comb her hair and apply any makeup that she had.

Katie 37 is about as close as I come to posting a before picture.

Here is the problem, as I see it. From the very beginning I developed a kind of sales pitch that I use. As I drive away after the pickup, I start telling her about my photographic prerequisites. During our conversation, I disclose everything. Up until now, to the best of my knowledge I have kept my word. Before and after pictures are not mentioned in our spoken contract. In order for me to post a before and after set of pictures, I would need to explain to the girl beforehand, the what fors and whys.

If it got back to the girls that I was posting unflattering before pictures, without their knowledge, I would have to answer for it. So I don't do it. There are a lot of things that I could do, but don't do out of self respect.

The question is, have I gone too far. Some of you know Katie. But! Have you ever seen her like this? Should I stop with the make-up and outfits, thereby making her more visibly assessable and easier to find for the average guy? The before and after is shocking. If I hadn't seen the transformation myself, with my own eyes, I would not have believed it was the same girl. . . .

I don't know what they will do. In the past they just moved to a new site.

I can say this, two girls who left the streets for BackPage and did very well, have returned to the streets.

I may not be the right person to ask. I don't and never have done BackPage.

For a long while I have been trying to show that, when it comes to looks the average Streetwalker is right on par with most BackPage girls and some high end Escort.

A big problem among mongers is that, at first sight, they expect too much out of the average girl. Give the average girl the opportunity to gussy-up and you'd be surprise. They clean-up very well.

… lately I've been trying to step up my game. Most of the girls I photograph are streetwalkers. They seldom are equipped with little more than the bare necessities. So, I started out earlier this year by purchasing a bag of make-up, from the dollar store. Some girl will use it and others won't. Some girl's don't want to take the time, others don't know how…

I strolled Camden today. Thought I saw a few new girls by Ramona Gonz. Turns out they were just old girls that have decayed. Haven't seen any new talent in a while. December brings out all the bulky clothes and hoodies. Makes it so hard to shop. Normally the county lets a few of the girls out early to save on staffing OT around the end of the year. Make a list of lost favorites and maybe Santa will bring it to you. Good luck guys.

In this case I was busy with a few girls in Philly. These pictures of Bunny were taken back in August.

IMHO, her body and skills are still worth the effort of tracking her down. She has been a staple in the Camden Broadway area for a while. I am pretty sure she is still available for those willing to make the effort.

I recently saw BSW Stacey on Broadway about two weeks ago get in a car. She looks a little better than before. I also saw Missy near Broadway and Kaighn ave. I thought she had passed away. I saw BSW Bunni she still looks good as hell. Does anyone know what happened or seen BSW Kia?

It was Stacey who introduced me to Bunny. Back then, before Stacey started doing coke and losing weight, she was my go to date. I have not seen Stacey in a while. Hopefully she has slowed her roll a little.

Kia can be a really great date, if she is not spaced-out. The last time we dated was in Camden. However, she did have me drop her off on Kensington Avenue. That was back in the summer.

Good looking BSW's with good attitudes are not easy to find. BSW's like Bunny, Kia, Stacey and Tiffany are rare and precious indeed.
