This thread is like Trop right now! 3 posts in a month? Anyway, Trop has been pretty much non existent in the daytime lately. I've been out there just about every day for the last week and have seen 1 SW worth stopping for and it turned out she's someone that I saw in PHX. Other than that, there have been days when there was absolutely nothing out there, I wasn't out looking so I wasn't making multiple passes, at the most two round trips during my work day. But I do pass through at least 3 times a day, sometimes 5 or more. I can't remember in the 10 years I've been living here when there was nothing at all on Trop. On the other hand, BH has been getting active again, maybe they are moving there. I've seen multiple SW's out there that I recognize from being daytime regulars on Trop and amazingly I saw action by Flamingo, haven't seen that in years.

Got a room near Trop last Monday, had not been out there at night since late last year, there was nothing between 5 pm and midnight when I finally gave up. Was staying at the Rio, came back to the hotel and to my surprise there were CG's there, again something that's rare. I've been staying a the Rio for years whenever I want a room near Trop, usually see one SW at night then hopefully one early morning, but I've only seen 1 CG in the Rio in about 14 stays there. New to the city, still learning my way around. Went out to lunch, and on my way back home I passed the Lowe's on Boulder Highway / Fremont at about 2:15 (half an hour ago).

Counted 5 BSWs in the area. Three walking about a block away from Lowe's, all three tried to catch my eye. Another two in the lot right as you turn in, at the corner of the building. These two were pretty petit, and seemed preoccupied with whatever was in their purses.

Drove around to the Dotty's in the corner, nothing there except a Metro cruiser working in the corner of the lot.

That dirt lot was the best location to be honest because of the amount of empty acreage that could be built to suit. I have a personal feeling that the casino mafia had a lot of sway into the decision even if nobody will ever admit it.

They didn't pay $13 M just to own and operate a shitty Motel 6. They will soon be tearing it down and building something else there.

Is not owned by Motel 6. It's operated under a license. A hotel management firm out of Texas bought the property less than a year ago for over $13 M. Not going anywhere.

They didn't pay $13 M just to own and operate a shitty Motel 6. They will soon be tearing it down and building something else there.

That stadium should have been built down the street on the huge piece of land across from the outlet mall, enough room for parking, shops restaurants, a hotel etc. Along with the stadium, hell they probably could have built an NBA arena or MLB stadium.

It's kinda late for that. Dean Martin from Trop the Allegiant is a mess. I was 100% sure they were going to get rid of the Motel 6, that nasty ass Galaxy Motel and the businesses on that street to make room for parking and other stuff. I get that Motel 6 might have been hard since they are a corporation but the Galaxy? Until those dumps are gone, you are going to get that level of clientele there. But Davis has no $$, can you imagine if the Rams had moved here and Kronke built a stadium? He would have purchased everything within a 1/4 mile of that site.
