I agree somewhat. Back in the late 80's To mid 90's There would be so many from Harmon / Paradise To Sahara / State St. Not to mention Downtown and Boulder highway. I would sometimes cruise for hours just looking to see if I could spot a sluttier hotter one than I saw before. This was a hobby of mine for years. I posted in a prior post that I put 200,000 Miles on a 1989 Chevy truck in 4 YEARS. From mostly cruising the Vegas streets. Internet now for me is my go to if I just want a QV.

Big reason why I strictly only use the internet. I don't want to put miles and eat up gas looking for a unicorn on the street. Just has never been my thing, but I know some mongers love chasing those street girls.

Good post. I wanted to share an experience I had just within the last week or so while cruising. Saw a rarity late late night on BH, a young, thin, blonde in sweats and circled back to see what was up. Pulled over and asked if she needed a ride anywhere, and she responded, "a ride only or do you want a date?" My senses somewhat went off because the girl was hot so I replied, "hop in. " She thought about it for a second glanced over her shoulder then got in. Red flag number 2 goes off immediately (the over the shoulder glance). I quickly size her up and notice that the cell phone she was carrying in her hand had an active call still through the reflection of the passenger side window (she was holding the face of the phone away, but did not realize this). Before I can say a word she immediately goes into her menu with her rate. "Full sex with you coming in mouth or on my face for two large. " That was a first for me and I responded and said, "No, I was just offering you a ride; nothing more because a girl shouldn't be walking around in this area this late at night alone. " Then I told her, "I can drop you off at whichever store or to your home if you want. " She declined and got out. Strange thing is while I was driving away she just kept walking down BH and I didn't notice any other car, before or after I saw her. Don't know who was listening to the conversation, but someone was.

A cop would never get in so I have to think, she was a working girl.

Wanted to add my 2 cents here as I found this info helpful.

Berkley County (where the Martinsburg sting took place) has a requirement to fill out a form for access to search their public records (called a "Virtual Courthouse" I wanted to see how many arrests made it to conviction.

Now having my name and pic in the paper would be enough of a deterrent for me but, lets be honest, next time I am in Vegas, I'll be mongerong too so decided to ask some questions of some folks I know in Nevada that are attorneys in this area.

Nevada / Clark County looks at "Entrapment" very seriously but you would have to prove it. I am told that using a cooperative female would be highly unlikely om a sting only scenario (maybe targeting a pimp) due to this, but not inconceivable.

If mongering by car, be cautious about big bags and / or unnecessarily baggy clothes. Your enemy here is recording devices. While a good attorney could try a motion to suppress recordings due to an expectation of privacy, it's best to just look out for it or at least, as part of the cop check, ask to inspect prior to negotiations. Then drive off a bit. Putting distance between you and the pickup serves to increase reasonable doubt because the length muddies what the intent of the scoop was. If the cooperating female is under an agreement and motivated by some arrangement, she likely won't want to go far as that also is a concern to LEO.

Anyway, I am told that, in the events of the above, if she is a cooperating female then you'll have a good entrapment case as no audio and distance in the drive suggests time for coercion. The attorney I spoke with states he's defended many of these, but never a cooperating female one but would create a defense by listening to any recording (if exists) and attempting to work toward an entrapment plea.

If recorded audio exists, he would look for her initiating negotiation, time from recording start to solicitation, if the guy sounded intent and other things if no recording, he'd argue the person's character, and motivation to entrap.

In my opinion, following the mongering rules seems like it'd protect here.

I put 100,000 miles on 4 cars from 1987-2018.

A dime in every batch of 100 out there.

Really isn't a stroll but they live on Paradise and Twain block you'll always see them walking around. There's Boulder Highway which according to other posters just isn't what it used to be. Your best bet is stick to the internet if you don't know the areas talked about.

Having been caught once and spending the night in jail, its no big deal at all, but I am single and the $1,500 I paid the lawyer was well worth in.

Only been caught once in almost 34 years.

I think 1 out 3,000 interviews with streetwalkers is well worth the odds.

I am guessing Paradise and Tropicana are two main strolls to work with. Any others? I will have a car.

Really isn't a stroll but they live on Paradise and Twain block you'll always see them walking around. There's Boulder Highway which according to other posters just isn't what it used to be. Your best bet is stick to the internet if you don't know the areas talked about.

I'm sure the guys who were under the mistaken believe that if a girl got in the car they were home free are relieved to know the girl that actually did get in the car resulting in their arrest wasn't an actual cop but a "cooperating female. ".

At the end of the day, they still got their picture in the paper.

Just shows there are exceptions to every rule and this one, while perhaps a very isolated exception, sort of blows the comfort level of 'if she get's in the car'. Ouch!

I just saw her behind the Irish pub and she looks good.

Drove passed and pulled in to the Chevron on the corner and that quick she was getting in to someone's car. Right in front of the LVPD camera recording everything. I guess guys or hookers don't worry about that? I'd never do it, but to each his own.

I feel like it is fine in the day to be in these areas. I come from a bigger city with more crime. The daytime here is safe in these areas. At night its a different story since you put yourself at risk being on foot. Just remember that if you get a bad feeling about going into an area or one of their rooms, listen to it and leave.

Now if you're driving that's a different situation you will be fine during the day but uncle picks up at night so you really want to be Low Key! Good luck be safe and report your findings!
