I've always assumed that this could happen, I just haven't seen evidence that it does happen.

Saw it happen awhile back on the Brooklyn loop saw a blonde in the road and a big black guy leaning on a fence. If I see something interesting, I usually pull about a block ahead and watch. I was watching in my mirror when she walked up to a truck. The next thing I see is the black guy on the passenger side of the truck, one marked car and one unmarked car blocking the truck in. I slowly pulled away and left the area, this was about a year ago, but it does happen.

Yes probably stings. And BTW, decoys are BEYOND ANY SHADOW OF A DOUBT getting into cars before signalling undercover cars to swoop in. I know there are skeptics out there who will say that it is too risky, especially with covid. I used to be a skeptic, too. But there is no doubt in my mind that it is happening. This is a game changer. I'd be interested in any suggestions on how to respond to this. My only advice is to not pick up any new faces. Perhaps travelling a ways from the pick up site before negotiating, too. Be extra careful. LE is operating like our guard is down.

The safest way I know is to ask them if they would like a coffee or something cold to drink. That actually does two things. You did not ask for anything illegal and gives you time to assess there mental state. If they don't have time to get something to drink, then they don't have time to give you a descent date. Offer Mcds or dunkin which is out of the immediate area so you have time to negotiate. Yes it may cost you a cheap meal or fancy drink. I have found it puts them more at ease and willing to do what you request. If they don't have time then they don't have time to give you a decent date. Even if it don't work out, it will help you out with the other girls since they all talk about us who is naughty and who is nice.

I can't be certain, but I'm 90% sure the one who wouldn't get in without you stating what you wanted for the record was a cop. I KNOW that's how Uncle do in Dundalk.

For the rest of us, that probably means they're running stings in the neighborhoods again, so WATCH OUT. They do that every so often when residents complain.

Yea, it sounds like a possible sting, which is a bit surprising with the current health situation and social unrest.

Years ago I had 2 girls approach me at the corner of Washington and Carey. Instead of just getting in my car, one of the girls stood at my car door and asked if I was looking for a date. I agree 100% with Jack, I am so sorry you spent all day in Dundalk! For a truck Guy "to say what I wanted before she got in the truck" and then say " she left her purse in the car" exactly what were you driving? Did Catalina give a phone number or any contact info? Just asking!

I went to Dundalk and spent the day there. I met a few cuties at the Citago who wanted too much, $60 for BJ and $80 for both, so I said no way! I met another who was being stuck up and kept trying to get me to say what I wanted before she got in the truck, so I passed on that too. I am ended up with a nice Latina name Catalina at the Dunkin' Donuts. She wanted $50 for both, and asked if I could buy her something from McDonald's when we were done.
