No one wants to get caught in a sting, though it doesn't help those already arrested, it does as stated by Is Thata SW gives a heads up to people that stings are going on in the area & to be careful, kudos for that.

There was a follow up today with more details in the same paper, undercover police where used in the operation. IMO using providers for a sting is bad juju for all involved, LE, the towns, the johns, & the providers.

I don't think I'm allowed to post it here, but the Holden Landmark news police notebook for Feb 22 has several arrests for sexual conduct for fee. No mention of sting, but that's the closest I've seen.

Skatar, I've seen you on this forum for years, you always have a contradictory opinion you like to overly project in order to let the other party know you doubt or disagree with them. This kind of retort on your behalf would serve well in a court of law, or a debate team, but exercised within this forum is just a waste of breath.

The arrests are real, I posted the link in the CL forum. Does it matter if they occurred in the Wong Dynasty parking lot or anywhere else? Not really. What does matter: They occurred in a small town and I'm simply giving a heads up that this happened and may happen again. Does it matter if Stella's intel is 100% accurate and every single word she uttered is of utmost fact? No, it doesn't matter, because no one assumes anything any of these girls say is 100% accurate. But, her info was majorly correct. Skatar, you seem to find gripe with people over small details or facets of their posts. Analyzing and pulling apart the most insignificant parts of ones post just to attempt to cast doubt. Once again Skatar go take the LSAT and apply to law school, it sounds like you'd love that shit.

Given that, unless information can be provided showing a sting operation occurred at the Wong Dynasty parking lot in Holden, whether or not it's called green roses, then I believe Stella to be full of it. I did a quick search & could not find anything about a sting in Holden, as stated in a previous post if you do come accross any information regarding a Holden sting I would be interested in hearing about it.

The sting op I mentioned in my post yesterday wouldn't be any different than the sting ops they perform every day out of motels except that it would involve an established actual provider. It would be exploitation of the woman more than anything. These types of operations go on every day in all different realms of criminal activity, especially drug transactions. I hold a JD along with common knowledge regarding criminal defense practices.

Simple Setup:

1. Guy (cop) texts girl (Guy needs to text her initiating services for LEO to avoid the entrapment).

2. Guy meets girl at agreed upon meeting spot (parking lot).

3. Girl asks guy what car he's in, walks to window, confirms it's him with fake nervous banter through the window.

4. Arrest.

The evidence is the text log, which may or may not still be present on his phone's texting app. And the fact that he's in the parking lot, confirming he's there to meet the girl who walked to his car window, maybe even discussing details through the window.

The cops arn't just arresting every person who pulls into the parking lot, I'm not sure how you deduced that from my post.

Also, coercion would only apply if the the threat to the provider from the police was one which existed outside of the law. Such as, we will target your whole family if you don't work with us. But, offering leniency in sentencing in exchange for cooperation would be: taking a plea deal and working as an informant.

There's no risk to the civilian informant if it's a "controlled date" which is what this sting op was. I heard it was called operation "green roses".

What we usually don't get to hear is the trial evidence on both sides, those that are arrested & go to trial & those that turn around & sue for volitions that led to a wrongful arrest.
